To be exact i would rate it 3.5 star. For the sake of completeness and generous, it would be a 4 star. We of 2 adults and 1 teenager entered the restaurant for an early dinner 4-5pm.

There is no live music or entertainment.

The simple restaurant is suitable for families, children, large groups and even for more intimate and romantic couples as well.

Quality of the food - not the best i have had but its okay for a simple meal.

Service - the waitress was no really pleasant, did show signs of impatience and expect us to know what to order when we ask for suggestions but manageable and says thank you upon leaving after payment.

Interior & exterior design - Cannot be simpler like any street restaurant. Just eat and go.

Ambiance - Is considered acceptable, as you see what you get.

Cleanliness - Due to the set up and its target audience, there is room for improvement. Unsure there is a "trash" bin? below every table though.

Value for money - From where i am from this is...

My go-to spot for shark fin and bird’s nest dessert whenever I’m in Bangkok’s Chinatown — and I’m glad to say the quality has remained consistently high over the years.

We visited on a rainy Sunday evening and were surprised to find the place fairly quiet, likely due to the weather. For two pax, we ordered the shark fin soup (500 baht), bird’s nest in coconut milk (50 baht), and oyster omelette (200 baht).

The shark fin soup, served piping hot in a claypot, was well-seasoned and generously packed with tender chunks — a comforting bowl, especially on a rainy day. It was our first time trying their oyster omelette, and it exceeded expectations — crispy edges with plump, fresh oysters inside. The bird’s nest in coconut milk was light, subtly sweet, and refreshing — a great way to round off the meal.

Prices lean slightly toward the higher end, but the quality and consistency more than justify it. A reliable, satisfying stop in...

Whenever i visit Bangkok, I'll never miss having sharkfin soup & bird nest at Chinatown. Previously, i tried a different stall, and it was superb. Decided to change & try a new stall this time around, so i picked this shop. Ordered my 2 must order & didn't order other dishes because i already had a very sumptuous seafood buffet earlier on. The service staff look unpleasant because we didn't order much. This kind of service is a total turnoff. The sharkfin texture is also not to my liking. It's hard & you need to chew hard before swallowing. The taste is also not good, diluted, i can say. Ordered the 500 baht one, and the portion is also quite small. The bird nest is very normal also. This will be my 1st & last visit...
