Posting this so other traveler’s are aware a few things have changed regards what’s on offer.

The atmosphere and service was fantastic so zero issues there but it’s worth calling out there is no standard local tap beer or lager anymore and unfortunately while Guinness and Heineken were on offer they ran out of Heineken an hour after opening which, unfortunately as a bar owner myself, is not the best look on a Friday evening leading us to unfortunately move on when we would have likely stayed for several more hours.

Also there is no longer food on offer so possibly worth an update there as well.

Bit sad tbh as the location and service was fantastic, but a bar without food options and a cold beer choice is very unfortunate and it’s the loss of not capitalising on easy fixes that dipped the experience to mid, as opposed to what could have easily been...

Pretty cool spot…if you can make it up the 5 flights of stairs lol! They were out of a lot and we ended up with a drink we didn’t even order…but had it anyway. Curious as to what it was after the fact because it was strong (please do let me know-we really do want to know). It was green and definitely had herbs 😉 in it. Oh, and use cash…I gave my credit card and 10 minutes later I went up to see if everything was ok and they said it would take another 10-15 minutes to process. I totally thought “card cloning” haha j/k…but I asked for that to be cancelled and paid cash. Ps-We came in for the IPA, out, elote, out…only a few pork items and fries available- we don’t eat pork, so unfortunately we didn’t try the...

I was surprisingly disappointed by my experience at Raymi. The reviews for this bar raved about its excellent service and great atmosphere, and,l while the atmosphere was very nice, the service was subpar. My party found ourselves having to wave down the waiters to order drinks, waiting 10+ minutes after asking for the bill, and the. charged a 10% service charge - for quality service that was not there.

The drinks (although pretty) were very weak, and many of us questioned if there was any alcohol in them.

In summary, there are definitely better bars to go to in Chinatown and in Bangkok in general, and we will likely not be coming back to Raymi...
