It’s perfect for any solo traveler looking for comfort, great amenities, and a warm community. The complimentary breakfast each morning was a delightful spread with options like fresh orange juice, cereal, a wide variety of fruits, omelettes, eggs, cake, bread, jams, and toast. It was the ideal way to kickstart my day and kept me energized for all my adventures.
The rooftop view was one of my favorite aspects of the hostel, offering a stunning sight of the Mahanakhorn building daily. Whether it was sunrise or sunset, I enjoyed peaceful moments with this iconic view, right in the heart of bustling Silom. Read moreFormal Complaint Regarding Repeated Unprofessional Conduct by Staff Member
Dear Management,
I am writing to formally raise a concern regarding repeated unprofessional conduct by one of your staff member A**H (designation unclear — possibly seems like Assistant Manager, or Manager) during my stay at your property.
On several occasions, this staff member shared with me her dissatisfaction regarding salary increments, position concerns, and internal management issues. These conversations also involved gossip and remarks about the owner and workplace environment. As a guest, I found such behavior entirely inappropriate and unprofessional, particularly when shared repeatedly and unsolicited.
While I am intentionally not disclosing the name at this stage in order to avoid affecting anyone’s career prospects, the persistence of these interactions has left me with no choice but to bring this matter to your attention formally. Such conduct not only reflects poorly on the management’s internal culture but also creates an uncomfortable and awkward experience for guests, who expect discretion and professionalism within a hospitality setting.
I trust that the management will take this matter seriously and ensure that such behavior is not repeated with me or anybody else in future.
I trust this feedback will be received in a constructive and professional manner. My intention is to support a respectful and positive atmosphere for guests and staff alike. I would be more than willing to refrain from sharing any additional observations or supporting details, provided the concern is appropriately acknowledged and addressed with due consideration.
I sincerely hope the management will address this concern with sensitivity and responsibility, keeping in mind the guest’s right to privacy, comfort, satisfaction, and mental peace during their...
Read moreI originally booked 2 nights but extended an additional 3 because I love the atmosphere and staff! It's a good location in Silom, walking distance to the BTS, and great restaurants and bars. The inside decor is rustic with a modern twist, inviting, and warm. Lots of space to chill out and work on your laptop or relax in the lounge or amazing rooftop area with seats and a view of the "Jenga"-like Mahanakhon building. You can do a full load of laundry in the washer for the same price as sending out 1kg elsewhere. There's a kitchen you can use and you can store food in the fridge, use the toasters, microwave, dishes, etc. Lots of free snacks including packaged noodles, coffee, tea, and free drinking water. The staff is super friendly and always looking out for you. They genuinely want you to enjoy your stay and care about each guest! The manager is also very kind and receptive to feedback, and took action right away when I made a couple suggestions. The entire building is kept spotless as they clean throughout the day. Bathrooms are large and showers have shampoo and soap, hot water, and great water pressure. Breakfast has fruit (yay!), a variety of breads and baked items, and cereal. I'm in a dorm and the lockers are extremely spacious, warm blanket, comfy pillow. I saw a private room and was in shock at how nice it was! Beautifully decorated, pictures don't do it justice. Will have to stay in one next time I come...
