Suananda Vegetarian Garden & Ayurveda
If you happen to be around the Silom area and searching for quality good with just the right amount of flavor, then you may wish to endulge your vegetarian palate @Suananda.
A quaint family-owned restaurant nestled away behind a main street (Pan Rd.) down a small alley. While not to difficult to locate with signage on a side of a building seen from Pan Rd; which is right off Silom Rd..
On the day that I arrived, lunch time had just finished and was around 1500. While there was a good amount of people coming in and out of the kitchen, it wasn't too noisy to enjoy the setting.
Outside the restaurant there are several sitting tables for those wishing for some fresh air with some shade. On the day I arrived Bangkok was slightly more humid than most and decided to sit indoors to enjoy some cool air with only one other family in the dining room. I will note, that the food on their table had just arrived and looked amazing. In my time at the restaurant, I often heard the family beside me discussing how wonderful the food is; while devouring every morsel.
Water was free and located on a separate counter table, near a bulletin board filled with Ayurveda events and classes.
While the food isn't inexpensive by thai standards, it is worth visiting and trying something on their menu. I decided to order the Soba Samadhi and must say it was delicious.
Bathroom weren't nothing special, but they weren't completely unclean and were equipped with working water and soap; which is always a plus in my book.
In the end, the restaurant held up to the reviews I had read previously. And would definitely recommend this...
Read moreOh my God so my friend can only eat vegetarian 🌱 for this religious ceremony that she’s doing and so we decided to pick this restaurant 🥑 and I’ve always wanted to come here because it looks so peaceful and beautiful and the food in the pictures looks great so we decided to take a stroll and go here for today’s lunch!
We ordered the moringa fritters, the banana blossom salad, and also the gotu kola salad!!🥗 The prices are a little bit pricey for the portions that you get but it is delicious food!
Everything was delicious I would highly recommend this place first of all the ambience is absolutely spectacular you feel like you’re just in this amazing sort of Zen very peaceful garden like setting we sat outside with the fan on us cause it was quite hot today however we absolutely loved the food it was really Tasty I wish we could’ve stayed for a little bit longer however we had to run but next time I come here cause it’s close to the BTS line!
Definitely when you get a chance go here even if you’re not vegetarian but to try the food is quite nice, It’s tucked away halfway down Pan Road so If you think you’ve walked a little too far you probably haven’t and it’s tucked away in a little small driveway area!

Read moreOne is mesmerised by the rating so far as our experience of dining in this establishment is far from the rating it has been given. This place is a Indian vegetarian restaurant with no ambience and quite atmosphere. Customer service is poor and the food is only average. We walked in at 8.45pm and no one attempted to greet us. After 5 minuteis of us having the menus the waiter came to take our order. I asked for 5 more minutes and he said last orders are at 9pm. After that when we ordered the first thing on the menu, the waiter said it's not available! So we had to change our order. No one came to see if everything was ok during our meal however at 9.40pm the waiter came to say that they close at 10pm and they would like us to finish by then! I would very much like to know if the staff had ever had any training in customer service and...
