The restaurant have 4 different style of food in 4 different floor being izakaya, teppanyaki, sake bar and omakaze. The one we visited are the omakaze and the quality is extemely impressive. All of the food are fresh and with exceptional quality.
The food have a good balance of traditional style of japanese omakaze while some dish also have good creativity to make them stand out. The more tradional dish such as uni gunkan are great with very fresh uni that have no bitterness or smell that tend to be associated with lower quality one. Some stand out in the more creative dish is the chawanmushi with abalone, dried wakame and cheddar. Another impressive dish is shirako tempura which give shirako extra texture and, personally, allow the creaminess of shirako to shine without being too overpowering.
The service is also great with the staff being very attentive and friendly. The chef are also very friend and very willing to explain and share the detail of each dish.
Overall, the lunch is very satisfying and definitely worth to revisit again even if the dish will be different as per the...

Edited Oct 2024 - Celebrated my son’s birthday at Kaen Teppanyaki. Wagyu is the highlight here. The Miyazaki A4 Ribeye was so “marbled”… even 200g for three people was too much, after salad, appetizers, vegetables, and Saba sushi and sashimi we requested from Seifu omakase. The meal also included garlic fried rice and dessert. BYOB 500b for Marriott...
