Aoi Silom is one of the first few Japanese restaurants in Thailand. Aoi is the quality one and it has survived years and even expanded branches in a few malls. This original branch at Silom 6 is still the best. I came here when my chirashi “aoi” cost 500++ but it now cost 1000+++ (lunch menu). Dinner price can be doubled. My favorites are Chirashi Aoi, Tendon, and box bento Sandanju (any bento is great value and quality). Its dishes are delicate and crafted like a good hi-end Japanese place should be (imho judging from my limited Japanese food experience).
