Bottle Rockets — Restaurant in Suriyawong Subdistrict

The original Bottle Rockets (BR) in the Ari area was one of my fave bars in Bangkok. I loved the boho, Indie, slightly punk rock spirit of the place and the wonderful big round window that looked into the train station.

So, BRv2 had a lot to live up to, and it didn’t disappoint. But it is quite different to BRv1. Where that bar had the punky, dive bar, club house vibe, BRv2 is more stylish - like if Wes Anderson designed a bar for a film.

Big ups the design and renovation team who have transformed the old Silom alley into an Instagrammers dream spot. But what about the beer? The range of IPAs on tap the night I visited wasn’t to my taste so I settled for a pint of the black stuff which hit the mark.

We didn’t eat but will try some food next time. Overall, it’s good to have BR back on the scene and I wish them all the best. I will definitely bring visiting beer lovers because BR is unlike any other craft beer bar in Bangkok and for that...

Areas : small area and suitable for 50 people and size of glass of beer compare with ml is make me feel a bit expensive than usual likes example for famous place like Ekami have a big glass than this and same price with this place and some place that you able to see the ChoaPraya liver and got bigger ml that why I give 4 out of 5...

Amidst the situation of the Covid-19, alcohol places are forced to stop servicing after 9PM, which kill the business directly. However, Bottle Rocket learns to adapt, and with real deal ice-creams! At the first glance after seeing that they are offering new ice-cream menus and new mocktails, I thought it was just another overpriced ice-creams with unnecessary gimmicks that are made for taking pictures only. But oh boy I change my mind after the first spoon, because their ice-creams are fricking goooood chef kiss Their ice-creams are clearly well-thought out and well-crafted.
