I'm not a fan of writing medium and/or negative reviews, but this is an exception. The restaurant used to be good but the latest lunch I had wasn't up to par. Had the katsu kare rice - rice wasn't hot or soft enough. Kare was alright but the pork tendon portions weren't that big for 400 baht didn't seem appropriate. The side dishes in the set were not tasty (pickled vegetables), the soup was slightly on the salty side but within acceptable limits. My mom had the buckwheat tempura dish which she complained wasn't good enough compared to other restaurants she had before. The service was good otherwise. Great basic Japanese lunch sets (very good value for money).

Place is packed during lunch ours. Lots of Japanese expatriates working in the area frequent this restaurant.

👨🏼‍🍳The owner is a kind, Japanese elderly man who genuinely seems to care about this place, the food, and the customers, and still works along his staff.

This is one of my childhood memory restaurant, I came here since I was little with my mom and my sister. And tbh I love it here so so much, one thing is that food and odour here is timeless, it's never change. Talking about favourite dish, that for sure I can't decide lol from tendon to karake to ramen and ofc ice cream parfait. I LOVE EVERYTHING! 🤣 the combination of all taste here give you goosebumps (if you love food). It's super homey and super comfortable.
