Revised review, January 2023 Long time fans of G's, but honestly extremely disappointed on our last visit. Prices used to be high but the food was worthy. Now the prices are still high but the food was underwhelming and portions were much smaller. We liked the black forest ham starter with the prezel and mustard. But the sausages were dry. Schnitzel was also dry, and small. Potato salad was also somewhat dry and just plain dull. What used to be bacon strips is now more like bacon bits. They were out of pork knuckles, normally a favorite dish amongst Thais. Beers weren't very cold, nor were they poured to the line on the glass. To make matters worse, someone locked himself into the single toilet for over half an hour, but the owner didn't go check or even seem concerned at all. Meanwhile, four or more other guests were queuing. Very nice. Overall, I wouldn't completely discount G's, but it's just not worth the high price anymore. Apparently, there is a new place trying harder called Never Mind, I'll check that one out soon.

Read moreSuperb. Spent an amazing few hours here enjoying German bier, Italian Liqueuer and superb German food. I had earmarked this place to visit and finally got to do that - and I wasn’t disappointed. Greeted at the door by the manager who retained friendly chat and advice in perfect proportion with us throughout the night. All other staff were also excellent. Food was generous in portion size and reasonably priced. Only a stones throw from Sala Deng station (Exits 1/2). Can’t recommend this place highly enough. Well worth a visit, it deserves your patronage and I’ll certainly be returning soon. Very well done guys. Update from November 2022, Arrived back at this great place to find the mirror image service, food and drinks I had on my first visit. Carbon copy of the original praise for the establishment that deserves as much patronage as it can handle. Super,...
