Great Thai iced milk tea, smooth and sweet perfectly.(Half sugar) The minced pork with eggs rice is wonderful! Clean environment and great price. Would love to try their fish next time coming back.
Update: revisited Nov 2024 Ordered fried sea bass with fish sauce and pad thai with chicken. The pad thai is not good, could skip. Yet the fried sea bass is amazing! Fresh fish, combined with the fish sauce, perfectly blended, excellent taste!
update, May 2025. What happened to this branch? Was 5 stars, now 1. Ordered the deep fried sea bass w. Veggie and the minced pork with basil rice. Both are very bad this time. 1 star. The deep fried sea bass is like McNugget, but refried version, very hard coating and not fresh. Veggie is not cleaned carefully, some bugs there. The minced pork rice is disaster too, like sthing from microwave. The first time i ate was wonderful, now like a trash. I am sure the cook is different now. Even the milk tea lost their original taste... Will...
Read moreWe visited your establishment on the evening of April 5th for dinner. However, the following morning, my family members inexplicably experienced severe gastrointestinal distress, including vomiting and diarrhea. The situation became so severe that we had to seek medical attention at a nearby hospital, where they received treatment, including intravenous therapy. This unexpected turn of events has left us greatly dismayed and concerned about the safety and hygiene standards at your restaurant. We had not anticipated such severe repercussions from our dining experience and are deeply troubled by the health consequences that ensued.
We urge you to thoroughly investigate this matter and review your food preparation and hygiene practices to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future. Additionally, we kindly request reimbursement for the medical expenses incurred as a result of this...
Read moreThis outlet of Lay lao does not have the Michelin Bib recommendations (the Lay Lao Phaya Thai) but I still enjoyed the dining experience.
For a table of 3, we ordered 3 dishes and a soup. The signature grilled pork neck appears to be tender and goes well with the sauce provided. For the vegetable, we ordered the signature stir-fried cabbage with fish sauce and garlic topped with creamy omelette. This is the star fish of the day as though simple and appears unappealing, I love the taste of the of the combination of the fish sauce and the creamy omelette. Since it is a must try, we had the Massaman chicken curry. The chicken tender and not overly cooked. Lastly, the clear soup seafood Tom-yum-kung is just normal and nothing different from the soup that you could get from other restaurants.
I will be back try the outlet at Phaya Thai to make...
