If you love deep fired and Japanese delicate taste, here is your choice. The crust is thin and broken gently on bite. The most impressive is the simple asparagus and cream crab croquet.

2021: After the COVID-19 attack, the restaurant is seemed to repositioning. The price is reducing from what we usually paid 2000 THB per head to approx. 700 THB per head. No more delicate taste, no more excellent raw materials. I thus reduced from 5 stars to 3 stars

2022 March: The restaurant started a new line, soba and udon. Three visits during 3 first week, the soba was unstable. Served soba was different and never repeated during three visit. Though the soba quality is acceptable, but one cannot expect fragrance of soba in this hand-made soba. The most impressive could be inari sushi. The service and staff is strongly recommend to improve. There are always some mistake or missing our order, not only one time but every time we visit and could be more than 2-3 mistakes in a visit. Every visit, we found staffs loudly argued among them that totally ruin a good atmosphere for dining. I reduced 3 stars to 2 stars and removed from my favorite place. Let's see if the restaurant...

Hidden restaurant on 2nd floor in Soi Taniya. One of my favorite restaurants in Silom district. Highly recommend for a proper Japanese meal Today I tried a special dish, Curry Nabe only 390THB/person (13 USD) with unlimited high quality pork 🐷 Soup: at the beginning it is light with mild curry fragrance. After boiling veggies in the pot, the soup become incredibly tasty 😋 Pork: Very tender bite-size slide going very well with the soup. You can ask for Tonkustu sauce for extra favor! I ordered rice with cheese to put in the pot afterward that made Curry risotto. Please try! Another great time with Kushikatsu Ishimoto. Definitely coming back for the regular dish!

Used to come here a couple times but never again. I bought vouchers for Kushikatsu Ishimoto Thonglor from Wongnai and was informed days later that Kushikatsu Ishimoto cannot fulfill the voucher request, so they asked me to contact Sushi Sejiki instead. A week later I contacted Sushi Sejiki and they informed me they have also canceled this voucher with Wongnai and told me to contact Wongnai for a refund. If you're not gonna be fulfilling vouchers then think twice before selling. Wastes so much of my time trying to email Wongnai for a refund because they don't have a call center. Will never ever visit any of these...
