Breakfast for 2: 🍳Eggs Benedict (199 THB) - I took vegetarian version, spinach & two poached eggs with hollandaise sauce and side salad with balsamic vinaigrette. Taste very good, decent size of a dish.

🫓Salmon & spinach quesadilla - served with cheese inside. Taste nice, although not filling on its own.

🥣Yogurt & granola (180 THB) - served with fresh cut fruits & a bit of honey sauce on the side. Taste good, might not be filling on its own.

🌰☕️Hazelnuts coffee (80 THB) 🍫☕️Hot Chocolate

Value for price - fairly price comparing to other resturant around the area. Food taste great, fresh. Some dishes are enough of their owns, but others won’t be filling.

Service - really amazing. The family really take care of everything, paying attention for all details, making sure you are happy and adjusting things for you. It is very unusual in Thailand to get such a great service, and this is the main reason my friend & I keep going back there. We’re happy to show our support.

Atmosphere - very cosy & homey feeling. Small place, but very comfortable and welcome. There are a lot of details within the resturant. Ideal for breakfast time with a friend, can also be suitable to work from.

Plugs & wifi - available next to most sits, wifi is good.

Parking - as the place in Phuket town, car parking will be a bit more challenging.

I recently visited Rose Espresso, and unfortunately, my experience was underwhelming despite the average pricing. Here are my observations:

Service Timing: The dishes and coffees were served separately. Mine arrived first, followed later by my companion's, which was inconvenient and disrupted the meal experience.

Presentation and Flavor: The chef seems to lack a sense of presentation. The flavors of the ingredients didn’t harmonize well, making the dishes less enjoyable.

Freshness of Bread: The bread was noticeably not fresh, having been stored in the fridge for an unknown duration, which detracted from the meal's quality.

An important detail is that we were the only patrons in the restaurant at 10 am, so there was no rush or high volume of orders to justify the lackluster service and quality.

On a positive note, the coffee itself was excellent. If you're only looking for a good cup of coffee, this place might be worth a visit. However, for a satisfying breakfast experience, there are other venues nearby that offer better value for your money. The ambiance of Rose Espresso is cozy and it likely had better days, but currently, it needs significant improvements to justify the tourist...

I found this shop to be treasure. Beside the food that is cooked with love, I can feel the atmosphere and warmth that is rare nowadays in busy soulless business cafes. If you are someone who looks for a cozy place to have breakfast or a cup of coffee, relating to people. This is a place to be! The owners both the man and the mama lady, they are full of hospitality and soul. Many places are soulless but this place is FULL of it.

My friend and I had english breakfast, Americano and Matcha. I loved my matcha! thick, smooth and right amount of sweetness.

I chatted with the mama lady and she appreciated the feedback because this is family business and understand that she can't please every kind of guests.
