COSMO BAR BKK — Restaurant in Talat Yot Subdistrict

We came here under Songkran, looking for a nice place to enjoy the view of all the partying people. The view is great but the service was so poor from especially one staff member.

She greeted us happily, but changed mood completely after we told her we had already eaten (time was 21.00, and it is more a café than a restaurant, so I think that was completely normal) so we just wanted to order a deal they had on a lot of beer.

We asked her for the internet code, but she said it was down. We asked another waiter after, who gave us the code with a smile - because guess what, it wasn't down at all...

Waited 20 min for beers. And...

This is my favourite bar in the Khaosan Road area and I've been coming here for years. It's an excellent place to begin the night or just chill out. Prices are very reasonable for the area; they do beer towers, cocktails, soju, etc. as well as some food. There is usually live music later in the evening and as with most Thai bands, what I've seen has been excellent. Facilities are clean and well maintained. The bar staff are lovely. This being a rooftop bar, there is an outside balcony where you can smoke or just look down at...

Sweet rooftop (not many on or near khao San) Good music and ambiance. Prices are higher like 200b for cocktail instead of 120-180b on street but the vibe is worth it. The food looked amazing but they were only serving fried stuff when we went. Would love to go back and try the raw stuff. Vodka passionfruit cocktail...
