overall nice stay. no tissues in bathroom. but tissue is there in room. jet spray available too. windows are there but no balcony. reception never picks up phone but if you go and ask anything, they help. no coffee or anything in room. but they gave 2 bottles. bathroom and room is clear and neat overall. but quite small and composed. location exact in the alley. khaosan road area. lots of eateries and massage parlours and tuktak and cabs outside. you can walk. minute and then call grab or bolt..hotel has lift and luggage room too. for keeping things after check out free. overall neat hotel. genuine area, kind people, English they understand very less. budget friendly but expected to be little better than a lodge type. rooms are really compact. extension cord is available if you ask. towels they give. telephone works but they don't pick up. Daily maid service, if you want, and loads of restaurants, shopping and sights to visit nearby. I enjoyed my time there and spent 3 weeks in the same room because I was satisfied.
However, the location has several local night spots with live music venues, starting up early evening and going until the wee hours of the night. One of them has a bass system that can vibrate walls. I like music and would have enjoyed listening, if it hadn't been an unholy mix of beats and rhythms cancelling all the musical value that may have existed. The venues are just too close together, the various groups simple didn't mix well, it was chaotic. My room was near the street and I got the blunt force of the musical din, but I'm one of those people that can completely ignore something that's best ignored. Read moreWorst hotel I have ever stayed at.||The room is filthy and absolutely nothing like the pictures on line.||The noise from a pool party directly outside the window was horrendous.||The windows were literally shaking and sitting in bed you could feel the vibrations from the absolutely thumping sound system.||I put in my gel earplugs and my sound cancelling headphones it was still so loud it was giving me a headache.||I checked in for one night and had to be at the airport at 4am.||I couldn't even stay in the room as the noise was unbelievable.||I asked reception it took a while to wake him up if there was any possibility of moving rooms because of the noise but he assured me my room was a quiet room.||I sat in a bar down the road somewhere more quiet and went back to the room at 1am as i had already travelled for 14 hours and was exhausted the noise was even louder I thought the windows would shatter.||It finally shut down about 2:10 am.||Do yourself a favour dont stay in this hotel it...
