A unique old town branch near Khaosan and a cluster of street market, right at the corner next to 7-11 and surrounded by TukTuks and a noodle stall. I particularly love the 2nd floor, which is decorated with cozy nostalgic theme projecting mood like in the Wong Ka Wai movie. There is a lot of choice of desserts including ice-cream, like other Swensens shops. I also like Swensens serving a complimentary water along. For this shop, 2nd floor is quieter than ground floor. The seasonable featured menu featuring is always cute and cultural (some presentation might be too simple and fun but you can see the creativity!) But some tables look oily, that's fine though not affecting the experience much.
Staff are friendly and efficient in general. But incidentally, one staff was about to introduce something to me but after I tried to ask for some clarification in Thai for some Thai words, she appeared nervous and then withdrew everything she wanted to say, kept saying "No, No No" despite I asked patiently what she would like to explain (in Thai). Later I figured it out it might be about toppings for the shaved ice, which could be quite important info. It is not a very positive service experience. I hope owner can train waitresses/waitors to improve communication skills, be more patient and friendly...

Absolute delight!! 😋, next is the classic American tower ,with 2 scoops of ice cream 🍦, banana 🍌 slices ,hot fudge sauce and chocolate coated...
Read moreDirty place. Very unpleasant service. They do the favor of approaching, they smile knowingly, they make indiscreet comments about the guests. You feel unwelcome. A few people resigned after seeing the behavior of the staff. I ordered an earthquake, the same dessert for the same money at Swensens in Siam Paragon had 10 times more toppings. And at Siam Paragon, the service is at the highest level. Go to Siam Paragon for ice cream, because you will regret...
