The Thai entrepreneurial spirit just powers on with the new generation. I love exploring, discovering and supporting these creative, energetic start-ups. Great concept here: merging Japanese izakaya spirit with Thai country classics. OK, the room is still a bit of a work-in-progress, but the kitchen and service staff are up to snuff, the (full range of) Beer Lao is cold, and the pork collar aroy maak. As an aging solo farang just nosing about, I was eagerly welcomed and taken care of. ...

I’ve been here a couple of times and the food is always so good everytime i come. The somtum is actually one of the best i’ve ever had in Bangkok and i just really enjoyed the overall atmosphere. It’s an easy going place with really random decor but it definitely doesn’t lack in the food quality area. The owners and restaurant manager speak english, Spanish, mandarin and Thai, which really impressed me!

Definitely come and visit them! I’ll be coming back...
