THE SQUARE RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Thanon Phetchaburi Subdistrict

The Square Restaurant on the 6th floor of the Novotel offers a daily seafood buffet starting at 6pm. If you make reservations on their website, the cost will be THB 950 (approximately $30) per person. While a bit pricey it is worth the experience at least once.

There is an incredible assortment of seafood, Thai dishes, salads, fruits and desserts to try. Most of the food is excellent, especially the sea bass and the smoked salmon, although we found the rock lobster and crab claws to be a bit disappointing. In one area, you can select whatever raw seafood you prefer, or beef, or pork, or chicken and they will cook it "shish kabob" style for you and bring it to your table.

Start with a wonderful salad and slow your pace; you will have plenty of time to try all that is offered but be sure to leave room for desert. They also offer an extensive wine selection which takes up a full wall but be aware that wine in Thailand is very expensive due to...

An exceptional choice of Chinese dishes, very traditional...along with unique flavours.

The best sweet chilli sauce I've ever tried...I estimate I had around 8 dishes 😇😅😍

And the deserts had me going up for no less than 5 times!!! I think they've spiked the coconut ice-cream and coconut bars with crack 🤤they were so maurish and addictive...

Nearly 2.30H dining with no rush to get you out, you don't see that in England...

And along with all of those positives the staff were on par with the greatness of the food.

Went for lunch and was very disappointed expecting better food from reviews. The pizza margherita was only cheese and tomatoes with a side of dried oregano and ketchup. For the prices was very disappointing and much better options to eat at mall next door. I feel bad for writing a negative review but also feel obligated to after being misled and want to warn others. The french onion soup was small with only a piece of bread and cheese on top. Overall it was surprising that a restaurant in novotel does not maintain better standards for food.
