Let’s Relax Spa - Novotel Platinum — Local services in Thanon Phetchaburi Subdistrict

I love Let’s Relax and in fact I am a gold member here for quite some time. The gold member gives you 15% discount for Let’s Relax Spa. I came here with my partner to get a massage today at 1:30pm by calling them in advance and booked for 90 min foot for one person and 60 min foot + 30 min neck and shoulder for another person.

I’m a native Thai so I communicated my request in Thai to the Thai receptionist. I made my request and booking over the phone once then came to spa. I repeated my request for the second time. The receptionist asked me to pay without asking for my membership QR code scanning. Since I frequent Let’s Relax at other outlets which always ask for this QR code, I asked her if she needs my code. She said no, discount has already been applied. I paid, but she never gave me the receipt.

The staff asked my partner to go for a 60 min back massage, which was wrong. So I repeated myself for the third time that we booked one person all foot 90 min (myself) and another person foot 60 min + neck shoulder 30 min (my partner). She calculated the price difference and asked me to pay again. She repeated my order: one person foot 90 min, another person neck shoulder 60 min + foot 30 min. At that point I almost lost it. I had to repeat myself for the FOURTH time to get it right. We wasted 30 min just to get this figured out.

After finishing the massage, another receptionist came to give me a receipt, which I noticed that no discount was applied, so I asked them again. Another assistant manager whose name is Nirinya was present. I simply asked why is my gold member 15% discount was not applied. She replied with a tone, “ลดไปแล้วนะคะ gold member ลด 10% นะคะ ไม่ใช่ 15%“ which translates to “discount already applied, gold member gets 10% discount, not 15%”. I had to open the Wellness Me application and showed her this screenshot. No apologies, no accepting that it was their mistake. She simply just voided my transaction and charged the correct discounted fee. While I wait, she was training the other receptionists how to apply membership discount. I try to understand that they probably don’t handle customers with membership so often because this outlet is mainly frequented by hotel guests who are foreigners. However, I still think it’s not a good enough excuse for poor staff training and low service mind.

Had the aromatherapy massage for 90mins and it was good. I guess you get what you pay for because this was a really premium experience!

First, they gave me a drink before the massage. I'm not sure what it was but it tasted sweet. My masseur then guided me to my room, where it was equipped with an aroma humidifier, sink, and shower area.

Instead of getting me to lie on my front, as per what a lot of other outlets usually do, she got me to lie down on my back. I guess details do matter, because she rubbed her hands with essential oil and gently tapped different parts of my face to let me really smell it. There was quite a big focus on my legs during the massage. Also, I liked how she massaged my feet and hands because it was really comfortable!

Another thing that made the whole thing more enjoyable was when she wet a towel with warm water and rubbed it over my body. It was super relaxing. The hole in the massage bed was also the right size, so it wasn't uncomfortable for me to rest my face on it. The bed was also heated, so it was a lovely touch.

To top it off, they served tea and mango sticky rice at the end. The mango sticky rice exceeded my expectations and I finished all of it!

Location & Accessibility: Situated in Novotel Hotel (beside Platinum Mall). Entrance is beside Starbucks. Take the lift to Level 6 (reception lobby) → Switch lifts → Head to Level 9.

Booking & Pricing: Definitely a premium massage spa with a relaxing ambiance. You can purchase vouchers from Klook and similar apps for discounts.

‼️Important‼️ Book in advance! Call or visit the spa before buying vouchers, as slots fill up quickly.

Massage Experience: Oil massages - Only female masseurs (spa policy). Thai & foot massages - Male masseurs available upon request. I personally prefer stronger massages, and I was assigned an elderly lady. While she was gentle, I felt a bit guilty seeing someone of her age working so hard. Also, do note that the rooms while soothing and clean, are not well maintained.
