I stayed here for 5 days and 4 nights in Room 308, a twin room facing the lobby road. The room was decent in size but very dated. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing.
There’s a nightclub and massage parlor directly opposite the hotel. The window in my room couldn’t be fully closed, so noise from outside came through all night, causing two sleepless nights. When I informed the front desk and requested a room change, the mature lady at the counter was rude and even gave the wrong room number. Staff also handed room keys to anyone claiming to be a guest, which felt very unsafe. The hotel still uses traditional keys instead of key cards.
Room and Facilities:
The bed was extremely hard, almost like sleeping on a plank.
Only two bottles of mineral water were provided, with no tea or coffee-making facilities.
Just one small bottle each of shampoo and shower gel was provided, and requests for more were refused.
Breakfast was very basic — bread and butter, plus a plate of rice with three sides (not a buffet).
The rate is cheap, and the location is convenient — close to major shopping areas and eateries — but that’s the only positive point.
Even in the afternoon, it was difficult to rest because staff were shouting along the corridor.
Summary: Unless you’re on a very tight budget, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The location is the only thing worth mentioning, but service, comfort, and facilities all need serious...
Read morePros: This was our first time visiting Bangkok as a family and we enjoyed the location of the hotel and convenience of being able to walk everywhere especially the Centralworld mall.||||Breakfast was actually good, I enjoyed the few dishes we had both mornings. Theres a massage club across the street which was entertaining to see all of the hookers and drunk men stumbling out of at 8am. Prime people watching area while you’re having breakfast.||||Cons: The hotel is very old and needs maintenance. Our toilets barely flushed and the older lady with the glasses working at the front desk tried to charge us $500 baht for makeup stains on one towel which was ridiculous. We immediately went to the bathroom to successfully wash it off and she pointed out a small dot left on the bottom. MAYBE JUST LIKE THE “NO DURAIN ALLOWED SIGN”, PUT WARNING LABELS ABOUT YOUR TOWEL RULES SO YOU DON’T OVERCHARGE YOUR GUESTS. Clearly they just wanted to make some extra cash off some Americans and gave us a hard time about it. The lady was extremely rude and the main reason we won’t be coming back. Shoutout to Fenty Beauty though, and fun fact: that foundation does completely come off if you wash your...
