Based on trip advisor reviews , this was a “disappointing dissatisfied meal”. Order the mackerel set, chicken satay
When I ask about what is in that mackerel set, lady said egg and then ask me if I want original and shrimp. What she did was she order another plate of egg for me in which I did not want . First never re-confirmed with customers before processing it. Leila manage to come fix it and understand little English.
as I was eating , I notice a piece of thin hair on the back of my cucumber and I threw it off. After the bill I manage to let Leila know about it but it seems like they don’t understand or bother to inform manager.
Staff is friendly but don’t seem to understand fluently only little .also don’t ask how was the food ??? Pre cooked Chicken satay- 5/10 not grilled enough , not tender but sauces sambal was Nice Mackerel set - 2/10 too much small bones and don’t think is fresh ( precooked) , pungent salty sauce ( reminds me of malaysia ) ; vegetable cucumber had hair hence rating down Menu- does not give enough explanation what is in it besides picture shown. Asking staff is no use because they get confused.
“Not recommended for tourist” and I would not come back. Should have check the low rating before coming. Cater for halal/ Muslim families etc Food overall - seems like is precooked before servicing hence food come out...
Read moreDiscovered this restaurant on large wall advertisement when wandering in MBK (Ma Boon Khrong) Center.
Located nearby Mr DIY and next to Santa Fe Steak restaurant, Yana Restaurant offers varieties of local dishes to handful of western menu like spaghetti, grills and meatballs.
Ordered Stir Fried Chayote Leaves, Stir Fried Chinese Kailan With Oyster Sauce, Fried Fish With Mango Salad, Fried Chicken With Garlic & Peppercorns, Steam Rice & also a Chicken Pad Thai.
Delicious food prepared, especially their stir fried vegetables and also their hot & crispy fried fish. Love their Mango salad which taste like a spicy fish sauce with sliced mangoes, sliced onion & chilis and also cashew nuts.
Garlic & peppercorns fried chicken on the other hand is a bit on the dry side but still acceptable - still okay for me.
Service was also good, given the fact food arrived within no time, don’t even we feel like waiting.
Couldn’t order more food even wanted to try more, cause the portion is really BIG!
Definitely worth recommending for those who’s looking for halal local dishes in Bangkok.

Read moreI hunted around for something to eat and came across Yana for halal food. I went through the reviews and most were positive reviews. Upon arrival I was impressed with the variety of dishes available and looked forward to making my order. However the green curry chicken could only be ordered with a portion for 3-4 persons. As I was alone it made no sense to order such a large portion. The only choice I could order was the red Tom Yam soup which was available for 1 person. Moving on I tried to order the stir fried vegetables but again was informed that the portions were prepared for 3-4 persons. The only other dish I could get was the omelette. Lastly I made the order for crab meat fried rice for 1 person. The flavours and tastes were very good but I was very disappointed that I couldn’t order the rest of the dishes. I noticed many families and large groups ordering many dishes and they were enjoying the food. I would only come here in a group in order to enjoy the good variety of dishes. Overall it’s not a friendly place for single...
