The Bangkok Royal Princess Cruise is an exceptional way to experience the vibrant city of Bangkok. From the moment we boarded the ship, we were impressed by the attentive and friendly staff who made us feel welcome and comfortable. The ship was immaculate, and the decor was elegant and sophisticated, creating a luxurious atmosphere that added to the overall experience.
The food on the Bangkok Royal Princess Cruise was exceptional. The chefs prepared a variety of dishes that were both delicious and visually stunning. We especially enjoyed the local Thai cuisine, which was authentically prepared and full of flavor. The dining experience was made even more special by the attentive and knowledgeable staff, who were always on hand to offer recommendations and make sure we had everything we needed.
The onboard entertainment was top-notch, with live music and performances that kept us entertained throughout the trip. We particularly enjoyed the traditional Thai dance performances, which were a highlight of the evening entertainment.
One of the most memorable parts of the cruise was the views of Bangkok from the river. Seeing the city from the water was a unique and unforgettable experience. We were able to see some of Bangkok's most famous landmarks, including the Grand Palace and Wat Arun, from a completely different perspective.
Overall, we had an incredible experience on the Bangkok Royal Princess Cruise. The ship was luxurious, the food was exceptional, and the entertainment was top-notch. We would highly recommend this cruise to anyone looking for an unforgettable...
Read moreOur recent experience on this cruise was nothing short of disappointing. It started poorly when our guide made us wait for the Galaxy ship instead of the Princess because they prioritize certain groups. As a result, we departed 40 minutes late and were assigned to the wrong ship altogether.
To make matters worse, we were seated at the bottom of the ship, with no view of the promised “sunset,” right next to the clearing table. This completely ruined the ambiance.
As non-drinkers, we felt excluded when complimentary beer was served on arrival. There were no alternative beverages offered, and we had to pay extra for a simple can of Coke, which felt unreasonable.
The buffet, advertised as "international," turned out to be a very average Thai selection that was not worth the price we paid. Adding to this, the facilities were poorly maintained—bathrooms were dirty and not looked after throughout the journey.
The biggest concern for us was safety. Both exit points were flooded during the cruise, and two cleaners were frantically scooping water into buckets (photo attached). When we passed under low bridges, standing passengers on the deck were not warned until the last moment, with a rushed announcement from the entertainer.
The lack of service was appalling. Dirty dishes, empty bottles, and a bad odor were left exposed to guests, making for a very unpleasant experience.
This cruise fell far below expectations in terms of service, food, safety, and cleanliness. Unfortunately, we cannot...
Read moreA huge waste of money in my opinion. I think it would've been better to simply rent a water taxi at night and just make the same trip on the river because the only truly good part was the view. You don't get to pick your seat but luckily there was one empty behind the stage and after a few minutes wait, they let us switch. The service was very poor. We were one of the first couples onboard and ordered drinks as soon as we sat down. 20 minutes later they brought mine, which was whiskey only, but they forgot my girlfriend's. 10 minutes later we got hers. Tried to order a second one but no one would bring the menu back. Then, about 10 minutes before docking they cleared the table and wouldn't even let us keep our water because it was "almost over". On a scale of 1 to 10, the food was a 3.5. It wasn't bad but it wasn't anything special either. The desserts were a 1 at best. There was at least a wide range of choices. The absolute worst part of the entire experience was the "live music". We're american and we both listen to a wide range of music genres. Almost all of the music sang was American. None of it was on key and the singers' voices were not made for American music. It was too loud and none of the song selections were really appropriate for the intended setting. Honestly, it was so bad, it made everything seem worse. It was so annoying it made it difficult to even enjoy the views. Unless you're looking for a cheaply produced dinner "party" on a boat, don't...
