My girlfriend and I had a tour at the city of Sacramento and checking nice spots to chill, to eat and to relax A common friend of ours mentioned to visit and check The Boiling Crab Well, from the word itself I was excited to check in and enjoy our lunch together Upon arrival at the place, our waiter made sure that we had a great first time experience He was very knowledgeable or informative while explaining to us the items in the menu He was very patience with us because we took time to choose what we really wanted to try because there's a lot of them in the menu We had the fried shrimp basket with fries and it was soooo good. We ordered as well the dungeons crab and it comes with whole shell and crab. It was very very spicy and we liked it so much, the spice is perfect We especially enjoyed the Rajun Cajun with Shrimp And the fun part is we eat with our bare hands and that's makes us bond as well through this kind of experience as it is my girlfriend's first time to eat with her hands The ambiance is very lively, fun and super clean All the staff were very friendly and assisted us in an expedient manner Cheerful people, great, good foodies Absolutely, we will recommend them to all our friends and family that will visit the city The boiling crab is definitely the place you won't regret to go for at Sacramento Great job!

I've been to several boiling crabs in the past, and this by far was the fastest I've ever been seated. I came for Saturday lunch and we were able to get a table for 5 very easily. There was plenty of seating, but I felt like the tables were placed too close together, getting and in out was a tight. The food was good as it always is at boiling crab. I ordered snow crab legs with the garlic sauce. This was also my first time trying their cajun fries and it became a fast favorite! The main reason I took off a star was due to the speed of their service. The other members of my party got shrimp and they received their food relatively quickly; however, the snow crab legs took an additional 15 minutes (at least), which was a little frustrating. Not a big issue, but it might be something to keep in mind if you happen to be in a rush!

You're welcome, I would have given 5 stars easily but the reason being is, I placed an order in person, received a text and in person confirmation that once the order was ready for pick up, I'd receive a text that my order was ready. I ended up waiting for 40 minutes when I was told the order would be ready in 15 to 20 minutes and went home with cold crab legs and sides when the order was ready but I never received the text update. The previous time I placed a huge to go order over $100 and left a tip of $12 and I didn't get ranch, salt/pepper, limes or napkins. This was all at the K Street location. The food is still 🔥👌 but I feel like the communication has been off and I've returned each time with lower expectations but still have these experiences. Crab was very fresh and delicious, prior to the pandemic it was not organized and there were no issues with to go orders being packaged per process but I truly believe there's just lack of motivation but times like these, we're all trying to support each other. I usually go for the food but this kind of service is something I've never experienced before with boiling crab. I am positive things will fall in place. It's just a matter of time.

Although in the heart of Sacramento deserted downtown (sad) it’s been over 20 yrs since I’ve been to a boiling crab and did not disappoint. I have a picky 14 yr and we loved the shrimp basket Cajun flavor fries for the little picky ones were hot and crispy shoe string style. And the shrimp had the most lightest bread / maybe batter I don’t know but it was fresh and delicious! Usually every other place similar to boiling crab over batter their shrimp but this was not the case! The house shabange flavor was just right medium for heat on the snow crab was pretty perfect for my mixed white family ha. But someone ethnic (me) it was a bit mild. It’s messy but fun time! Oh we also had the crab fries and delicious and crispy fries!
