⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Must-Visit Café in the Medina – Perfect Atmosphere & Hospitality!
Belkadhi Café is a true hidden treasure in the heart of the Medina! From the moment I stepped inside, I was enchanted by its charming mix of traditional Tunisian architecture and cozy, modern touches. The décor is beautifully curated, with intricate tiles, soft lighting, and comfortable seating that makes you want to stay for hours.
The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, offering excellent service with a personal touch. Their Tunisian coffee was rich and aromatic, and their freshly squeezed orange juice was the perfect refreshing treat. I also loved their selection of local pastries—the kaak warka and bambalouni were absolutely delicious!
What makes Belkadhi Café special is its tranquil yet vibrant atmosphere. Whether you're stopping by for a morning coffee, a midday snack, or an evening tea, it’s the ideal spot to unwind and soak in the Medina’s unique energy. I’ll definitely be returning!

Read moreI arrived to Tunisia yesterday and of course, I acknowledged that it was Ramadan- However, how ignorant of me assuming that some places would be opened for tourists... I roamed around looking for cafes around the wholw Medina, and all were closed and some owners were cold looking at me like dumb foreigner not honoring Ramadan (personal opinion). My phone was dying on me in a country that I just arrived to and not able to speak in Arabic, I became tense and desperate.
I then encountered this cafe, owner's son spoke English and the owner and his son understood my situation and let me sit in one of the tables to charge my phone- not requiring for me to order nor pay anything. I was sincerely touched by their hospitality and felt the heart of Ramadan (I'm a Christan btw). God bless them!
I will be in Tunis for couple of more days and will be off to Djerba- I will def. stop by again to try their famous coffee! Further feedback...
