I recently had the opportunity to embark on a culinary adventure at your establishment, and I wanted to share my thoughts and feedback regarding my experience. While I appreciate the effort put into each dish, I must confess that the soggy pizza and tasteless chicken left me somewhat perplexed.
Let me begin with the pizza. As I eagerly took my first bite, I anticipated a harmonious combination of flavors dancing on my taste buds. Alas, what I encountered was a rather somber and moisture-laden affair. The crust, once meant to be crisp and delightful, seemed to have taken on a rather disheartening state of sogginess. It was as if the pizza had decided to embrace the characteristics of a water park rather than a culinary masterpiece.
Moving on to the chicken, it is with a heavy heart that I must admit to feeling a profound sense of emptiness with each lackluster bite. I pondered the possibility of a secret flavor hidden deep within the chicken, only to be met with disappointment as its taste failed to materialize. It seemed to have taken a vow of neutrality, leaving my taste buds in a state of confusion and longing for something more exciting.
While I appreciate that every establishment can have an off day in the kitchen, I couldn't help but wonder if the soggy pizza and tasteless chicken were an avant-garde experiment in culinary minimalism that I was simply ill-equipped to appreciate. Perhaps, much like abstract art, the true genius of the dishes eluded my understanding.
In conclusion, I must confess that my taste buds were left yearning for a more satisfying experience. As an ardent lover of culinary exploration, I value the creativity and passion that goes into every dish. Therefore, I hope that my feedback can be taken constructively, and that future endeavors in the kitchen will result in more triumphant and flavorful adventures.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I genuinely believe in the potential of your establishment and look forward to future visits that will hopefully leave me singing praises rather than contemplating the mysteries of soggy pizza and...
Read moreI had high expectations reading the reviews and seeing all the “awards” at the counter in the restaurant. Those expectations weren’t met at all, here’s why. Good food. Not the best but worthy of a good Italian restaurant. Little cozy place that definitely looks the part! The service provided from the younger female waitress was great. We were asked if we wanted to share the dishes we ordered which we would like to. First dish we got served quickly. However the pace went far quick when the next dish, a pizza arrived a few minutes later. The pizza was left at the table while we finished the first dish. Once getting to the pizza it was sadly cold as we sat next to the door with cold air coming in. No one came to ask how the food tasted or if we needed anything. Asked for water on several occasions. Took a long while for it to be served. Asked for cold water, got served water at room temperature. Ordered wine. Bottle left at the table, not opened. Was not told what it was other than French, and price wasn’t mentioned with a word despite having no wine list and therefore no possibility of seeing descriptions or prices of the wines. For the dessert we were told that first the panna cotta was unavailable. Later this was changed to the panna cotta and one other dessert was available but two others weren’t. Upon ordering the dessert I asked for a limoncello to which I was told “Limoncello, what is that?”. I gave up at this point. The service just wasn’t good enough, sad when the food had a decent quality. I really can’t recommend this place. If you are looking for something authentic Italian. Imagine asking for fish and chips in London and the waiter tells you “what is that?” That’s how I felt with the limoncello, when the restaurant features...
Read moreWhile exploring the charming streets surrounding Galata Tower, my husband and I were eager to step away from the usual favorites in Galata area. After a bit of searching, we stumbled upon Molto Bene, a delightful restaurant tucked away on a curated street that promised a unique dining experience.
Upon entering, we were immediately captivated by the restaurant's chic and cozy ambiance. The decor was thoughtfully curated, featuring beautiful paintings from various countries that added an artistic flair to the space. It felt like a warm embrace, making us feel right at home.
Our waiter was incredibly attentive, ensuring we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout our meal. To our pleasant surprise, the owner was also present on the floor, personally attending to guests and making sure that we were well taken care of. It was a lovely touch that added to the welcoming atmosphere.
Having indulged in kebabs and traditional cuisine for the past few days, we were in the mood for something different. We decided to share a pizza, but the owner, noticing the chilly weather, recommended we try their lentil soup made with a unique beef stock. Intrigued, we took his advice, and I must say, it was an excellent choice! The soup was rich, hearty, and bursting with flavor—definitely a highlight of our meal.
The service at Molto Bene was prompt and efficient, allowing us to enjoy our dining experience without any unnecessary delays.
Overall, our visit to Molto Bene was truly memorable. If you're looking for a cozy spot with excellent food and attentive service away from the typical tourist spots, I highly recommend giving...
