Read moreThe most horrible experience we had in turkey in our 9 days stay. We ordered a soup & Adana kebab. First off the soup was sub par. I’ve had the best soups in turkey & this was strangely disappointing. Next the order for kebab did not come even after waiting for more than 20 minutes. When I asked after waiting for 20 minutes I was further told just 1 minute & then after waiting another 5 minutes I decided to leave.
I offered to pay for an unserved kebab and the host .. while being rude was very happy to accept the payment for something they did not serve. He pointed at a vessel saying that it is ready but yet did not bring to the table if it truly was. I paid and left. One of the most disappointing experience so far.

Once bill came the guy backed out and somehow forgot about the special beer prices. Disappointing! Also during the payment of the bill, waiter asked where I am from, I told him I am from Canada but he asked where I am originally from which is from India and then he responded by saying, “ why Indians ask for discount”. I was just not happy to respond to him but my response is that because you people scam tourists so we have to be smart and cleaver. Don’t try to scam tourists and charge genuine prices then we won’t negotiate or ask for discount. Have been travelling around Turkey and this place has been the only scam place I have been too.
