I gave this place a 3 star not because of the pastry taste (it was actually really tasty), but for the poor service. I had asked for 2 pieces of something, and the worker gave me 5. I even said no please just the two, he's like 5 is ok.

The person I paid cash to was busy in his phone watching somethin. Didn't acknowledge me or say hello or thank you or goodbye. He didn't even say bye after I said thanks and to have a good day.

If the vibes were better, I'd give it a higher rating. I won't go back here because of the service + many other pastry shops around to try. They also didn't really speak English here (which isn't why it got a bad rating, but something others may want...

Got a strawberry cream filled pistachio roll. Best roll I've ever had!! The bready part was chewy, spongy and moist!!! Flavorful! They did not skimp on the berries so it was bursting with flavor.vthe outside of the bread was covered in a sugary egg white I assume shell and that really sealed the deal. Then I got a small poppy seed topped baked good I thought was sweet but turned out to be savoury!! It was filled with spinach!! I almost took half a dozen of the savoury ones to go, to eat as a buttery breakfast. The outside was cooked crispy, just right !! I can see why they've been open since 1940. I wanted to eat the whole store to see what other amazing finds were there but had to catch a bus to the airport. Next...
