I loved everything about our dinner at the Metro Cafe & Restaurant - we were a group of 9 people and we had to wait a few minutes for a table big enough to accommodate all of us but it was no problem, having heard of the restaurant beforehand. The waiters are extremely helpful and friendly, they make you feel you are their cousin almost. The service is very quick and the food is unimaginably delicious. We were too hungry to take any pictures of the main dishes, but we enjoyed everything up to the last piece. I can confirm myself that the Beyti kebap is sensational, all the tastes mix up perfectly and each flavour plays its part. Also, the Katmer became, since the first bite, the best Turkish dessert that I’ve ever tasted. I loved the combination of very hot pistachio pastry...

Will never go back there again, typical tourist trap, expensive considering what they are serving.

We asked for Kebab sandwich but then it came with Kebab wrap in the roll since the waiter didn't understand English very well. We sent back the Kebab wrap and asked for Kebab sandwich again then waiter came back 2nd time saying they ran out of bread, obviously we were not really happy about it. Then the waiter came back 3rd time with the Kebab sandwich FINALLY!!! The Kebab is okay and fries is small considering the price they charge etc...

Honestly, really not happy with the restaurant STILL tried to sell us the Kebab wrap by saying they ran out of the bread, which was the waiter made mistake by not understanding much English after all.

The...

This was a restaurant we stopped off by chance and very glad we did! We ordered a mixed grill (1400tl) which was enough to feed my three kids, wife and I. It was served on a 1 meter long platter with a short theatrical fire display which was a spectacle! All the elements of the food was great and on point. I’m a big Turkish mixed grill lover, so I know a good one when I have it. The lamacun was the best I had on this trip. The guys serving were all great and genuinely seemed to enjoy doing their jobs. We were even privileged to watch another display when a special roasted lamb clay pot was ordered by the neighbouring table which had them all dancing on the streets with the music blaring and seems to...
