Rose Amida Fish and Kebap House — Restaurant in Fatih

During our recent trip to Istanbul, my family and I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Rose Amida Restaurant, and it quickly became one of the highlights of our entire trip.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm, genuine hospitality that made us feel like honored guests. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance—charming and authentic, with cozy touches that made it feel welcoming for both adults and kids.

Now let’s talk about the food—incredible. Every dish was a flavor-packed masterpiece, from the fresh, vibrant mezes to the perfectly grilled meats. The eggplant dishes were especially memorable, rich and smoky, and the house-baked bread was so good we asked for seconds (okay, thirds). You could tell that everything was prepared with care and top-quality ingredients.

The service was attentive without being overbearing, and the staff were more than happy to walk us through the menu and recommend favorites. They even went out of their way to accommodate our kids’ tastes—and succeeded in winning them over, which is no small feat!

Must be honest in comparing with prices here this is below average but I will still give 3 stars average.... The owner was somehow nice (I think it was the owner). Food is no more than 2/5 portions 1/5 for the price. Preparing time 0/5. My wife order a pide and I order Adana kebab I got mine in 20 minutes and here was over in 40 - 50 minutes... He brought mine first than after that she waited for almost 30 minutes... We were only guests there left before us someone was sitting and eating so I am not sure how it was so slow... We were hungry when we get here because we stayed in hotel near this restaurant but we were so disappointed after eating here. The reviews brought us here and you shouldn't trust reviews allways... If I could give this restaurant zero stars, I would. They are completely shady and absolute liars. The food is not very good at all and I guess that based on their ethics, they have friends post fake reviews. I had a Greek salad and hummus, with two small white wines and received a credit card transaction for $175 USD/7100 Lira. When I asked for them to make this right, they refused completely. Not to mention, the waiter, Mustafa was very aggressive and creepy with me about going out with him after my meal.
