TOURIST SCAM!!! TOURIST SCAM WITH RAW CHICKEN!!! Went here today and order some chicken wings, came out some of them were RAW. Informed the staff about it, he did not apologise and offered to cook them for some more time, but it was late and I didn’t want to wait. So I asked him for the bill. The other staff gave me a bill with a FULL AMOUNT PLUS THE NON EXISTENCE TAX. Are you bloody joking? All the price in Turkish restaurants are tax included and they think they can scam the tourists to pay more. After I said the above statement, he then said this is the service charge. Nice. You gave me some RAW CHICKEN and still think you can charge me for the service with that attitude? The staff insisted I should pay the full amount plus service charge. This is not acceptable!!! So after a long time arguing, he cancelled the “service charge”. But still charged me for the full price of the meal without an apology. At the end I still paid 2/3 of the full price. Also, what’s more to add, I have stomach pain now!! THIS PLACE HAS RUINED MY TRIP!!! AVOID THIS PLACE...
Read morea group of 5 very hungry walked by and were told by manager they can fix grilled lamb and chicken for 5, we asked to have them replace the chicken with lamb and they agreed. We ordered a large amount. The amount we recieved was less than enough for 900 Turkish Liras. The grilled lamb was a joke, 4 skewers that are a kids meal at best tasted nothing like lamb. The Kebap was very dry and salty with no flavor. The rice and whole wheat was stale. The free Hummus tastes like yellow lentiles mushed together. Tip: always check out the meat they have and if you see the Lamb skewers (Marinated) it is almost always a bad sign as lamb needs no marinate to tenderize or flavor it. bad cut, old, possibly beef is being sold. Grilled Lamb needs nothing but salt. Overall, no respect to the customer a tourist nightmare. Save your money and go eat real meat at the place next door:...
Read moreI visited this restaurant with a friend, excited to try authentic Turkish food, which I truly love. I ordered the grilled beef meatballs, expecting a rich, flavorful dish. However, the taste and texture were very strange—nothing like real beef. I could barely eat more than one piece as it was quite unpleasant.
Unfortunately, the experience got worse. On our way back to the hotel, both my friend and I started feeling nauseous and had stomach pain, which made the rest of our evening very uncomfortable.
I’m sorry to say that I cannot recommend this place if you're looking for delicious and authentic Turkish cuisine. We paid a high price for low...
