So, this place is a hidden gem in Kaş. Here is why...
Location : What you see: Surrounded by artisan booths, lots of pedestrian traffic, excellent people watching, nearby live-music venues. Can't beat.
What you don't see: Under the pedestrian path you're sitting on, there are Lycian underground tunnels. Next to the restaurant tucked in the trees, there is a Lycian stone tomb. Next to the historic building that is home to this restaurant, there is an ancient water sarnıç, which is also hidden in the trees. Sarnıç is a water depot that used to store rain water. The restaurant building itself is over 150 years old that was built with lumber that was transported from Algeria back in the days. Food: You don't know until you sit and eat. From the outside, it looks like any other Kaş restaurant. But when you get to the plates, oh mine! Small meze plates (tapas, appetizers), seafood, vegetarian and meat dishes. Really good stuff... Staff & Service: Four words... They want you happy. Friendly, attentive, local. Talk to them. You'll know what I mean.
Go to Köşk Restaurant. You...
Read moreHuge shoutout to the (I think) owner and guys at this place. I was told by someone that they have all the sports channels, so I went there in the afternoon to check if they could put on the first Ajax game of the season. The owner put in a lot of effort to find the channel, so we would be sure I could watch the game that evening. The tv kept lagging at first, but every time the guys at the bar refreshed the channel. They put in a lot of effort to make sure I could watch the game, truly amazing, also they were cheering along to support my beautiful club! The cheeseburger was super tasty and they had some nice draft beers to combine the amazing burger with. Super people, super service, super food, 1000/10! I could write a whole essay about how great they were! Thank you guys, people need to know how amazing...
Read moreIf you're visiting Kaş, you must go to Ally's restaurant, it won't disappoint! We ended up going at least 3 times in one week. It was hard to beat what Ally's has to offer - a beautiful dining location in a lively square, surrounded by pretty artisan craft stalls. The food was consistently delicious and generous portions too - I had the lamb chops, the ottoman kebab and the chateaubriand which were all super tasty and the cocktails and wine were all lovely too. The best thing about Ally's is the staff - Rifat and team clearly take great pride in their customers having a wonderful experience at their restaurant - their service is spot on - very attentive, helpful, full of smiles, and they want to make sure everyone is having a great time and enjoying themselves. Thanks so...
