Dining at Miso Garden Korean Restaurant was an experience worth having. Everyone from the waiters to the security guards was friendly and welcoming, working to give you the best experience possible! The bathrooms were clean and odour free. The parking was more than enough for the quiet, and calm restaurant atmosphere. Though the food was served a while after our order was taken, I do believe how long it takes depends on how many people the staff are dealing with on that day (there were quite a few other guests, we waited twenty to thirty minutes). The menu has descriptions and helpful pictures of each item in case you don't understand the meals on their own. It was diverse in having not only meat options on most items, but also a vegetarian option as well. There were play items for kids in the outdoor dining area featuring a slide and swing. My favourite part of the visit was how willing our waiter was to break down some things on the menu for easier ordering, as we had a slight hustle deciding what to eat. The only difficulty was not being able to find the menu online for some forewarning, the prices aren't the...
Read moreMiso is always a win in my book. Good, consistent food, at a good price. There is something about the miso soup on a cold day. Warms you right up. The size of bulgogi surprised me, but the taste made up for it!. The paste that comes with it is elite and makes a perfect wrap. Then there is the kimchi. I have and will always love one. The pork katsu is crispy as ever. Dumplings are always juicy. Do not get me started on their sauces.... Tip: If you order the Bento box, you can ask for the sashimi to be seared. Get the steamed or pan-fried dumplings since they come 8 while the soup ones come 5. Order the bulgogi and kimchi so you can make a wrap with rice as your buffer. Mouthwatering... If you are like me and you are experimental, get some kimchi to go. Makes an amazing addition to egg fried rice. Warning: Their drink selection can...
Read moreJust visited Miso Garden for the first time today. It was a wonderful experience when delicious Korean food. We have only been to two Korean restaurants in Kampala but we will definitely be coming back here. The staff was wonderful and the food including the salad was fresh and delicious. They do not have the normal side dishes but we still were not disappointed. My favorite was the chicken bulgogi. The pork was a tad bit try but still good.
Update: it was so good we went back a second d day for the Bulgogi and gyoza. Chicken gyoza was great but the vegetable gyoza was good but not my favorite. We also had chicken udon which was really good....
