BEEF meat & wine — Restaurant in Kyiv

Very nice decor and presentation. The staff were all very polite upon arrival as well as during the service. Location is conveniently in the city center of Kiev. Easily accessible via metro or Uber. The food ordered came out in a timely manner. During my visit on a Saturday evening the restaurant wasn't very crowded. But this may have been due to the Easter holiday weekend. For my appetizer I ordered the Borscht and Caesar Salad with Chicken. The Borscht was one of the best I've had since visiting Kiev and the Salad was nothing special. For my entree I ordered the Ukranian Filet Mignon cooked medium with grilled Vegetables. The meat was tender and the vegetables cooked to perfection. I paired it with a nice Pinoit Noir glass of wine. I passed on the dessert because I was too full to continue eating. The portions are very nice in size. Overall my experience was satisfactory but not what I actually expected from what I previously heard about the restaurant. I would still recommend visiting Beef if you're in Kiev and want a good meat dinner. Definitely more on the pricier side compaired to other restaurants in Kiev. Very good but is it worth the money? $$$$

Currently visiting kiev for a week and decided to check this place out. It came up online as a top 10 restaurant to visit in Kiev for 2017.

Steaks price range from $45 usd to $130 usd

My dinner: Caesar salad with chicken / bruschetta anchovies with veggies / Solomon steak with grilled veggies and a glass of wine

The food was very good no question, everything I ate was delicious and the wine was great. The dinning room was very high class feel and the service was well matched.

My bill was $1085 aka $40.00 USD can't complain about that when comparing to an equalivant restaurant in Canada or USA. For Ukraine this is quite on the expensive side (up to this experience all of my meals ranged between $2.50 to $10.00 - including some equally as good restaurants)

Firstly, the food was amazing, presentation was beautiful and the restaurant was stunning. For me, the reason I gave 2 out of 5 was because the second we went in there we were treated like VIPs and that went out of the window the moment we decided that we weren't going spend £50+ each on steak.

The waitress cleared the table whilst some were still eating starters and within seconds of the starters finishing she collected the remaining plates.

The same with the main, albeit cheaper cut of beef (because in Ukraine I'd like some Ukranian beef), it was a rushed service - from walking in to walking out was around 45 mins.

The table next to us had 1 drink and chatted so it was definitely an uncomfortable experience and we left feeling aggrieved we spent a lot of money in a restaurant that acted like they were doing...
