What is the first you’re doing when coming to a new country?) 🗺 right you’re- trying a local cuisine or if afraid at least watching it at the hotel) to tell the truth I’m not a hot fan of Ukrainian cuisine🙈 (deeply inside I’m more Italian 🇮🇹 - can’t even describe how much I like pizza, pasta & risotto) but at the same time I know how to cook borsch and even do it from time to time👩🏼🍳 That is why if going out for lunch or dinner I would hardly choose Ukrainian restaurant🇺🇦. But it was like that till a new place Sho was opened) there were so many good reviews about it that I couldn’t help exploring it on my own) So what I discovered: ⏺ nice interior, stylish, modern but with some authentic things; ⏺ magnificently written menu, where you can find all ‘must have’ of Ukrainian cuisine. My choice was vareniki with cottage cheese, and it was amazingly true decision 😋 (the same tasty I can eat only at my grandmas house). So what I’m trying to say, if being asked where to try Ukrainian national cuisine cuisine, answer without hesitation is Sho Seems that the main idea of its owners was to create something simple but sophisticated at the same time! 👌🏻 And you can see it in the small details, like the happiness which is in the small things! So wish you simple...
Read morethe place is amazing ... and it deserve 1 star just for the towels in the bathroom. The food is ok, but it's not mind blowing, But they have really huge problems in the management of the kitchen. we were there for a corporate lunch, we ordered 4 oliver salad, and they brought us 2, than after 1 hour another one and after 40 min the last one, same for banosh, first 2 than 1 and the 4th it has never delivered. i asked twice for a shuba, they answered 10 minutes, and after 3 hours (seriously 3 hours!!!) they said "ohhh it's not on the menu" ... anyway the second star they deserved because at the end of the lunch the manager came to apologize and they offered the entire lunch. ... the place is really amazing, so in a couple of months i will come back and we will see if we can change...
Read moreThe place is fantastic, the food is good and... The service typically friendly, some waiters are nice (Anton) and ... Then the gripe: Others downright ignore you. The staff is not attentive at all and dont find your eyes or even later your hands and arms in the air. Time is spent trying to order, and it spoils an otherwise great restaurant. The 1-star rating is deserved, because food, drinks and other orders take aalong time too. Have been here now at least 8-10 times and its a downward trend. The food is great. The interior is super. The service is simply overworked and poorly organised. Clearly they lack management to fix this, otherwise...
