Al Diar Dana Hotel — Restaurant in Abu Dhabi

After moving from Dubai to Abu Dhabi, my wife and I stayed in this hotel for two weeks. Before coming to it, we stayed in 2 FOUR-star hotels and 1 THREE-star hotel in Dubai for around two weeks. Out of all those hotels, we had the best experience at Dana hotel, even though Dana is classified by Abu Dhabi municipality as a TWO-star hotel, which is weird!

One thing really special about this hotel that you might not find easily in a lot of places - their staff is so friendly and cordial in a way that is so visible. You feel that they really care and are truly happy serving you and not just doing their job to get it over with - you know that feeling you get in many hotels.

In the reviews some people have complained about the difficulty of finding a car parking in front of the hotel, but seriously you don't have to park right in front of it!! There is a large and wide parking lot nearby in front of the 'Post Office Park' which is never full and it is only about 300 meters away from the hotel. I used to park there every day and every evening without any problems at all.

Finally, I would like to say thank you guys for your generosity and your excellent service. One evening, my wife told me that this hotel was starting to feel like home to her!

Unfortunately I am writing this review from This hotel room. I was so tired and all i wanted was to get some rest and get ready for next day. Since 11 pm I tried to sleep but couldn't because of loud music from their bar. I called reception and ask them if he can come up with some solution. He replied me that he will ask them to lower music. I waited and waited and waited until 2 am. Then I gave him a call again but no one responded. I was very sleepy and tired at this point. I decided to go down to met him. I told him my situation how I paid a hotel room and in return I couldn't sleep as well. I ask him if he can change room which he declined. Then I asked if he can give me certain amount of my money, so I can leave this hotel and get into another just to sleep. He said they don't do that as I checked in already. ||This is absolutely non sense. Basically I am paying to not to sleep.|And if someone in reception have told me about this loud music noise then I would have not spend my money here. |||And I am pretty much sure that no one from this hotel team will respond on my review as they don't care.||Message to the owner: |Hospitality is a service industry.
