Zaatar w Zeit - Abu Dhabi Mall — Restaurant in Abu Dhabi

Update: Was contacted by the management and promised to give a call back with the result, they will check the cameras and also adress this issue. Increased one star.

Initial Feedback: Its been 5 times I have visited this branch and I can’t give 5 stars… since 2013 (yes 10-11 years) I am always eating Zataar W Zeit in UAE, they are the only branch that dont follow Zooza Salad standards…

The portion is like for delivery, smaller than should (I had over 300+ plates for sure to know this) taste of the yellow dressing which usually comes have different taste then standard… (serving less than others too) Potato baked on the side is also not the way it should.

Not all staff really understand things the way expected. Interaction is not much comfortable.

Maybe they have higher rent, or lower visits I dont know, but I want to address this.

The views from the place are marvelous to Maryah Island. Thats why I tend to visit it….

But above needs to be addressed, till then its my last visit. Better to visit outside the branch close to ADCB Main Office, just...

We love Zaatar w Zeit here, and coming to eat quite often here in AD mall. Always same high quality of food and nice service, guys always smiling, positive and helpful whatever I asked (often amend my dishes slightly). The reason i put 4 stars to atmosphere is only because I didnt like what was showing on screen of TV right in front of my face. It was horse race channel which makes me sad to see animals abuse. Situation was resolved thanks to manager Elissa, and she made sure our dining was pleasant experience. so we'll keep coming back of course. And greeting and compliments to chef here for keeping food always at high standards. And My personal suggestion for atmosphere, no need to force visual information of unrelated content on customer during dining to add to informational pollution we experience daily anyways. Or at least channel should be appetite enhancing food related:) not a controversial sensitive topics. Hope it helps to improve otherwise wonderful Zaatar w Zeit. We’ve visited abudhabi mall outlet this time , the place is not bad and the food is good as usual . This time I wanted to highlight their service , Joanne ~ she is a Filipino girl but a bit different from some other typical Filipino . She has a decent smile , she help us our confusion with what to order because we wanted to eat everything but we’re just two of us only so couldn’t order many dishes but she suggest us the right items , she accommodate our request , especially we didn’t find in her face any irritating or impatience facial expressions for our questions and confusion. We’ve experienced some attitude from some of the Filipino since we’re not their kabayan but Joanne is totally different one . We really appreciate that you guys choose the right staff and definitely we will come back Zaatar w zeit abudhabi mall branch to see again Joanna and of course for the food as well .
