All Directions Abu Dhabi — Restaurant in Abu Dhabi

Authentic Chinese food with a lovely (although) small staff. Seriously, this is as authentic as it gets!

There's this idea that you can't find Chinese food in Abu Dhabi, and all the good places are in Dubai. While Dubai certainly has more options, All Directions definitely will not disappoint.

I've been here multiple times, trying a range of dishes, and all of them have been good. The menu crosses over many of the regional tastes from Sichuan (四川) to Dongbei (东北) and more.

It's a small hole in the wall, so seating is limited during the hot months, but during the cooler months they have much more outdoor seating. You'll see lots of Chinese locals and visitors dine here, and the restaurant feels like you've been transported back to a local restaurant in China. Inside you couldn't tell if you were in China or Abu Dhabi.

Finally the portions are reasonable and the price is right. I always order a couple of items and have plenty of leftovers for the next day. If planning the park nearby in the Mawaqif parking lots, depending on when you go plan to spend a little time hunting for parking. That or...

I recently dined at All Directions Abu Dhabi, and while the experience had its highlights, it also left room for improvement. The food was genuinely amazing - flavorful, well-prepared, and served in generous portions that will easily satisfy even the biggest appetite. However, the service was a noticeable letdown. Waiter didn’t utter a word while taking the order, appearing tired and disengaged, which gave the impression of being unwelcome. The service was also quite slow, which affected the overall experience.

It’s hard not to wonder if the issue stems from management or staffing challenges, as the staff’s demeanor felt more like a symptom of larger operational problems. If the service could match the quality of the food, this place would be...

A pretty terrible dining experience. Although the dishes come in large portions at a fairly cheap price, the restaurant has very poor hygiene and services. We went there for dinner at around 6pm, and sat close to the entrance. There were flies all over the restaurant and around our food. We told the waiter about it, but nothing was being done about it. In addition, we also found a strand of hair in our plate of water spinach. It was really disgusting and ruined the entire dining experience for us. They also do not have a restroom for hand washing or anything. Don’t think I’ll ever visit there again, as there are other better restaurants...
