Iāve dined here multiple times before and had positive experiences, but my recent visit was disappointing, especially with the Mixed Grill.
What Went Well: The welcome drink was refreshing, and the Lemon Coriander Soup had the perfect balance of spice and acidity.
Main Meal: The Mixed Grill didnāt live up to expectations. While the meat was frozen and just thawed on grill, the marination and cooking techniques were problematic:
Over-Marination: The meat, likely marinated in citrus, was left too long, causing the proteins to break down too much, resulting in a mushy texture. The flavors of both chicken and lamb were lost, tasting flat and lacking the distinct character they should have had.
Undercooking & Overcooking: The initial undercooking was corrected by overcooking, leaving the meat tough and dry. Overcooking already compromised meat canāt be salvaged, which made the dish unappetizing.
Portion Imbalance: The dish was supposed to be a 50/50 mix of chicken and lamb, but it came predominantly with chicken specifically wings, leaving only a few pieces of lamb. This imbalance was disappointing.
Customer Service: I spoke with the manager about my concerns, and he was receptive. I suggested focusing on grilling techniques and marination times for better results in the future.
This meal was a letdown due to improper marination, poor cooking methods, and incorrect portioning. I still believe in this restaurantās potential and hope they can refine these techniques to deliver a better experience next time.
My experience wasnāt up to the high standards Iāve previously enjoyed at this restaurant. The issues stemmed from technical cooking errors, particularly with marination and grilling methods. Iām sharing this feedback with the hope that it leads to improvements in these areas. I still believe in the restaurantās potential and look forward to returning for a better experience...

Embarking on an eagerly anticipated visit to Rahmath Calicut's latest branch, my companions and I were filled with excitement, recalling fond memories of delightful meals at their Al Wahda Mall spot. However, what awaited us was a gastronomic journey that failed to meet our expectations, leaving us with a sense of disappointment š„ŗ.
Stepping into the establishment at the late hour of 11 PM, we sought solace in a cup of tea āļø. Fortunately, the tea provided a brief moment of satisfaction, enveloping us in its comforting warmth and rich flavor. Yet, our culinary voyage quickly veered off course with the arrival of the nannari sarbath š¹. Despite its promising description, the beverage arrived incomplete, lacking essential ingredients like cascus, and its taste failed to impress.
Our hopes were momentarily rekindled as we eagerly anticipated the shawarma šÆ, a beloved staple of Middle Eastern cuisine. However, what arrived at our table was a far cry from the savory delight we had envisioned. The shawarma's bread was disappointingly crispy, resembling more of a chip than the soft, fluffy texture we had hoped for. While the filling was generous, its flavor failed to mask the culinary letdown we experienced.
In addition to the culinary disappointments, the ambiance and seating arrangements were commendable, offering ample space for patrons to relax and enjoy their meals. However, the lackluster performance of the staff left much to be desired, contributing to our overall dissatisfaction with the experience.
In conclusion, while Rahmath Calicut's new branch shows promise, it falls short of delivering the exceptional dining experience it once offered. With room for improvement in both food quality and service, I hope the restaurant takes this feedback constructively to regain its...

I am writing this review with great disappointment after visiting Rahmath Calicut, Hamdan branch, for their Onam Sadhya.
While the food itself was okay and tasted authentic, the overall experience was completely ruined by the appalling service from the staff.
The main issue was with the Sadhya itself. They did not serve the full number of items that are promised and expected with a traditional Sadhya. It felt incomplete and rushed, like we were given a compromised version of the feast.
The biggest problem, however, was the staff's complete neglect towards smaller tables. We were a group of two, and we were utterly ignored. The staff was visibly prioritizing larger groups, constantly attending to them while we had to wait endlessly for everything - from getting a top-up of rice and sambar to even getting a simple glass of water. It felt as if because we were only two people, our business didn't matter to them.
We had to call multiple times for the most basic things, and the attitude was indifferent and unapologetic. Paying full price for an incomplete meal and such disrespectful service is simply not acceptable.
I would not recommend this branch for anyone looking for a proper, respectful, or complete dining experience, especially during a festive occasion. The management needs to seriously train their staff on how to treat all customers equally.
