Good Food, but Disappointing Service and Attitude
I recently visited a restaurant with high hopes for a satisfying dining experience. While the food at this establishment was undeniably delicious, I must express my disappointment with the overall service and attitude of the staff, particularly the Arabic staff members. It was evident that they prioritized catering to rich-looking individuals rather than providing equal attention and care to all guests, regardless of their background. As an Indian guest, I felt ignored and overlooked throughout my visit, which left a sour taste in my mouth despite the flavorful dishes.
Let's start with possitive the food is excellent. Regrettably, the same level of excellence did not extend to the service and attitude of the staff. From the moment I entered the restaurant, it was evident that there was a disparity in treatment among guests. The Arabic staff seemed to focus primarily on attending to those who appeared wealthy, while neglecting others, myself included. This discriminatory behavior was disheartening and unacceptable, as it goes against the principles of fair and equal customer service.
Moreover, the lack of attentiveness and genuine care from the staff further dampened my experience. Waiters appeared disinterested and inattentive, making it challenging to receive prompt assistance or address any concerns that arose during the meal. Their indifference and disregard for guests' needs were evident, creating an unwelcoming atmosphere that detracted from the overall dining experience.
Despite the disappointment in the service and attitude, I must reiterate that the food itself was outstanding. The flavors, textures, and presentation were on point, showcasing the culinary expertise of the restaurant's kitchen staff. However, it is essential to remember that dining out encompasses more than just the food; it includes the overall experience, which includes service and hospitality.
In conclusion, the subpar service and discriminatory attitude of the staff, particularly towards non-Arabic guests, left me feeling disappointed and overlooked. It is my hope that the management takes these concerns seriously and addresses the need for improved customer service and equal treatment among all patrons. Until then, I find it difficult to recommend this establishment, despite the flavorful...
Read moreI would like to call it a worst dine-in experience in my life at Najd Palace, Al Falah on 28-Jul-25. As a customer, I was iltreated by Najd Palace, Al Falah management and that too not considering a family of 7 were dining there. Once we were entering, a notice was pasted as under construction and the entry has made through side door. As usual, we ordered food and once it was just served on the table, we heard a loud noise of drilling and I requested them to kindly stop as one of my family members is having migraine and moreoverk my little one with 5years old got anxious.
The staff requested the construction people but they didn't listen, hence I personally went to the restaurant manager and requested him to hold the work for 30 mins till we finish and leave. Also, I if not, please let me know, I will take away. They assured to stop and based on same we started to have our food. Literally in a span of less than 10 mins again they started drilling with loud noise and dust were flying. So I walked to the manager room and asked, but this time his response was very disappointing as he replied that the owner asked not to stop the civil work for any reason. So I felt helpless and we all left the table at the midst of our food.
I expected a decent approach from their managers but they didn't try to convince us, instead asked us to pay and leave including the full plate food which we didn't consume as well. I felt pathetic, the way Najd Palace management considering a customer, who were only focusing for money not for service or well being of a customer. Later I felt ashamed the way they were asking for and paid AED 246.
I will tell openly to the Abudhabi society, please do not visit Najd Palace, Al Falah as the management is not valuing their customers.
Thanks to Najd Palace, Al Falah for giving a memorable moment for the time I literally spent at your place.
On a special note, I would like to understand better from Abu Dhabi Municipality - the restaurant has just having posters mentioning under construction. Nowhere it is mentioned that noise and dust will be there due to construction. Also, allowing to dine in is allowed inside same place where construction was going on which was just covered with polythene cover. So is this the way a it has...
Read moreWe had a very disappointing experience at Najd Palace Al-Falah. We came in expecting a nice family meal, but the entire visit was overshadowed by loud construction work happening right inside at the restaurant. The drilling and banging were constant and extremely disruptive. We couldn’t hear anything due to the drilling and was directly interrupted by the noise. The noise was so intense to the point where we couldn’t hear each other speak and was hurting our ears.
Initially we politely complained to the staff to stop the noise, to which they said they would stop the work. 10 minutes later, the chainsaw noise starts again just as loud. When we raised the issue again to staff they informed us that the owner of the restaurant had decided to continue construction during dining hours and was unwilling to stop the loud noise.
What made this situation worse is the owners lack of respect to maintain an acceptable dining environment. At the very least we should have been made aware that there would be chainsaw noises blaring while we are eating. We were given no such notice.
I don’t normally write negative reviews, however this experience ruined what should have been a relaxing meal. And not to mention the rude attitude of the owner and staff was disgusting. This is not how you treat those who come to your establishment to dine. Not to mention we had a 5 year old at the table and she was anxious and crying due to the loud noise. And the staff was not considerate at all.
Unfortunately we had to walk out of the restaurant without finishing the meal. And what made it worse is that, the staff was not at all concerned about our interruption or understanding the situation, but simply making sure we pay the bill, which we paid.
I would not recommend this restaurant to my friends and family. Please do respect...
