Our recent visit to Al Makan Restaurant in Dubai was nothing short of exceptional. Located within the charming Souk Madinat Jumeirah, the restaurant offers a delightful fusion of Lebanese and Emirati cuisine, complemented by stunning views of the Burj Al Arab. The ambiance is both elegant and inviting, making it an ideal spot for any occasion.
From the moment we arrived, the staff’s hospitality stood out. They were attentive and accommodating, especially concerning dietary restrictions. One member of our group has severe allergies, and the team went above and beyond to ensure every dish was safe, providing detailed descriptions and alternatives. This level of care truly enhanced our dining experience.
The menu boasts a variety of flavorful dishes, from the succulent shish tawook to the refreshing mint lemon drink. The lentil soup, in particular, was a highlight—rich and comforting. For dessert, the warm loqaimat and Turkish baklava were the perfect sweet endings to our meal.
Dining outdoors allowed us to enjoy the picturesque surroundings, adding to the overall experience. The combination of delectable food, impeccable service, and a serene setting makes Al Makan a must-visit in Dubai. We look forward to returning and highly recommend it to anyone seeking authentic Middle Eastern flavors in a beautiful...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Al Makan Restaurant, and it was an exceptional experience. The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the mixed grill, which featured a mouth-watering assortment of perfectly seasoned and grilled meats. Each bite was tender and flavorful, showcasing the rich and authentic taste of Arab cuisine.
The salads were fresh and vibrant, providing a delightful contrast to the rich meats.
The Beirut-style hummus was a standout. Creamy and smooth, it had a perfect balance of garlic, lemon, and tahini. It was served with Arabic bread, that was perfect for dipping.
In addition to the fantastic food, the service at Al Makan was top-notch. The staff were friendly, attentive, and eager to ensure that our dining experience was enjoyable from start to finish. They were knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations.

Read moreLocated inside Souk Madinat, Jumeriah. There is ample parking within souk madinat. I believe upto 2 hrs are free.
This was my second time visiting the place the menu is extensive and have something to offer for all tastes. It is lebanese cuisine, which in Dubai is always a hit and a miss. However this place is good. The food is tasty and not very expensive.
I ordered lintel soup. The soup was well seasoned and had the right texture. I also ordered Tabbouleh salad, which again had just the right amount of zest. It was nice but nothing to rave about.
For main I ordered khushkhash Kabab on the recommendation of the manager there. The dish came with chips, salad and bread. The mixed kebab were grilled and served on tomato sauce which was very well balanced. I believe it could do with slight spice as otherwise was a slightly sweet. I asked for a chilli which they duly provided. The dish was tasty however what I am suggesting is my preference. I fully finished the dish.
For drink I ordered pomegranate Juice which was fresh and as it should be. Cooked you down after a warm meal.
I will recommend you try this resturant, when you visit Souk. As Souk is a must see when you are in Dubai. You will not be disappointed by...
