Guys don’t even bother going to Asateer. I have had the most horrendous Iftar experience of my life. I have been to various Iftar tents across Dubai and this has been by far the worst.

  1. Iftar time starts at 7:03 and their buffet closes at 8:30 exact. Guys c’mon it takes 20 minutes to pray, come enjoy the food. By the time you’re on the table after prayer it’s 7:30 already and instead of creating an experience you’re forcing customers to fill their stomachs and rush out so you can prepare for Suhoor.
  2. Suhoor customers only need to spend a minimum of AED 150-160 to be eligible to spend 6 hours inside the tent where as Iftar customers pay AED 220 per person and dont even get to spend 2 hours peacefully on a table?
  3. The dessert section was immediately closed and the Dessert server REFUSED to give us a SPOON? A little girl came asking for ice cream and he completely refused her!! Is this your spirit of Ramadan? We didnt even get to fully enjoy the dessert.
  4. People were still sitting while the Ramadan juice were removed at sharp 8:30 without even consenting people or informing them that the buffet will close. More than 70% of the tent was occupied when they started removing the buffets. People were rushing to the dessert counter just to get their hands on a sweets before they were taken away.
  5. My phone switched off so i went to take a power bank from the reservation desk. I came back inside the hall to share some pictures on my social media which would be at the end of the day beneficial for the Tent as i would share them on my social media and a really rude security manager came along with a Bouncer and told me go out immediately as they’re setting up for suhoor. Seriously, i dont understand how a picture disturbs their suhoor setup. What do you need a bouncer for? This is an iftar/suhoor venue not a nightclub.
  6. When we reached our table didn’t even have a chair and a different chair was arranged for me which was different from all the 1000 chairs at the venue like im paying less or something?
  7. I called and asked the reservation team to email me the menu for the day so i can look forward to eating my favourite dishes & instead i received menus for 5 days. I wasn’t even able to identify which menu is for today. Asked the same question through email never received a reply.
  8. Even after confirming on my email the reservation team still managed to call me to confirm my attendance. Why would you email us anyway?
  9. Not once did the arabic coffee guy pass by our table to offer coffee to us.
  10. My friend was traveling back to her home country and we wanted to create a memorable experience but instead we would just like to never remember this experience.

GUYS PLEASE WORK ON CREATING A NICE IFTAR EXPERIENCE INSTEAD OF FORCING PEOPLE TO EAT AND RUSH OUT JUST BECAUSE YOU NEED TIME TO PREPARE FOR SUHOOR. Your team needs to be more considerate specially your extremely rude security manager.

I really hope all the time and effort i took into putting this review is taken into consideration by...

Asateer Atlantis Ramadan Iftar is an experience that should not be missed during the holy month of Ramadan. Located in the luxurious Atlantis, The Palm resort in Dubai, Asateer offers a unique dining experience that combines Arabic and international cuisines, in a festive and elegant atmosphere.

I had the pleasure of attending Asateer's Iftar on a Wednesday, which was Persian Night, and I must say that it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I entered the restaurant, I was greeted with the warmth of the staff and the beautiful decor that was set up to reflect the theme of the night.

The buffet spread was nothing short of impressive. There were so many dishes to choose from that it was hard to know where to start. The Persian dishes were plentiful and delicious, with aromatic rice dishes, succulent lamb kebabs, and refreshing salads. There were also traditional Arabic dishes such as mezze, hummus, and tabbouleh, as well as international cuisine including sushi, pasta, and grilled meats. The dessert station was a feast for the eyes, with beautiful cakes, pastries, and Arabic sweets.

One of the highlights of the night was the live cooking stations where chefs were preparing hot dishes to order. The aroma of grilled meats and sauteed vegetables filled the air, and the chefs were happy to explain the ingredients and cooking techniques to the guests.

Throughout the evening, traditional Arabic music played in the background, adding to the festive atmosphere. The restaurant was bustling with people of all ages and nationalities, and it was heartwarming to see everyone coming together to break their fast.

Asateer also offers a prayer room for guests to perform Maghrib prayers, which is a thoughtful touch that is greatly appreciated by those observing Ramadan.

The service at Asateer was impeccable, with attentive staff who were always on hand to top up drinks and clear plates. The restaurant was spotless, and the hygiene measures put in place were reassuring in the current climate.

Overall, Asateer Atlantis Ramadan Iftar is an exceptional dining experience that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Dubai during Ramadan. The food, atmosphere, and service are all outstanding, and it is a wonderful way to experience the rich culture and traditions of the region. I can't wait to go back...

It was one of the best places to have iftar in Dubai but, in 2022 Ramadan, unfortunately, it’s one of the worst places (totally not Atlantis standards). The reasons are as following:

  1. The tables & chairs are dirty & not cleaned properly (we found a dirty Napkin between the sofa). Even when we were leaving they where just going around the tables preparing for shuhoor & not even cleaning. Too much staff just to stand around the table & to bring bills but, no one interested in cleaning.

  2. Poor service: we had to wait for 1 hour for arabic coffee. The guy came & took it to another family. Then he apologized & using the same dirty cups he wanted to serve us without even washing it (Hygiene issue).

  3. Food quality & taste was below average: Vimto was bad full of vimto without any water or ice. Kebabs were the worst, no taste, cold & can’t be even called kebab. No Proper Ramadan Sweets: (No Caramel or Jelly in sweets).

  4. We in VIP sofa near sea glasses, children went to see the sea & unfortunately, the area was kept for smoking so, just imagine how bad was is for non smokers & children (we pay the bill but, the service for people who wasn’t even sitting in VIP lounge).

  5. Birthday Cake brought to my wife without cleaning the table. It’s an occasion & we will take photos so, think before you do (same bad service or ignorance, Totally not Atlantis).

Good things noticed:

  1. New tent internal design.
  2. Parkings & Valet Parkings.
  3. Welcoming & Refreshing Towels provided.
  4. 2 ladies were the managers, tried to help us but, too many complaints or shortfall from the whole team which was inappropriate to keep call them so, we just finished our food &...
