🌟 5-Star Review – A True Culinary Gem at Dubai Mall
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Asma Restaurant in Dubai Mall, and I must say – it was an absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish.
The food was exceptionally delicious – every dish was bursting with flavor, cooked to perfection, and most importantly: served fresh and piping hot right up to the last bite. You could clearly taste the quality of the ingredients and the authenticity of the recipes. Each item on the menu felt like it was made with genuine care and attention to detail.
The Middle Eastern flavors were authentic and perfectly balanced, blending influences from Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and beyond. The appetizers, main courses, and desserts were all consistently excellent. The dips were creamy and rich, the grilled meats were juicy and tender, and even the salads were vibrant and fresh.
What truly elevated the experience was the outstanding service. The staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and attentive throughout the entire meal. They made us feel welcome, took time to explain the dishes, and ensured that everything was to our liking. It’s rare these days to find a team that combines such warmth with genuine professionalism.
The ambiance of the restaurant was also lovely – modern yet cozy, with elegant Middle Eastern touches that made the whole setting feel both refined and inviting.
In summary: • ✅ Delicious, freshly prepared food • ✅ Hot meals served to perfection • ✅ Authentic Middle Eastern flavors • ✅ Exceptionally kind and attentive staff • ✅ Beautiful atmosphere and setting

Read moreBeautiful concept of serving traditional Levant dishes with a twist. Creative items. It is following the trend of fusion concept food. Unfortunately some of mixing do not match well; tahini with chicken liver. Also, with fusion you need to try different mixtures. Here it was mainly adding tahini or labneh to all items. The concept also attempts to serve Tapas style; small plates for sharing which I think is good as you manage to try many items. I think that’s why some of the reviews complain of “small portions” because that is what Tapas should be. What the restaurant needs to do is to explain this to the customers and to focus on it in their profile as the concept in not common in the UAE. Also, for Tapas serving style to work you need extensive items while with Asma the menu is limited and many items on the menu were not even available. On the taste side I believe there is still a good room for improvement. Decor is charming and tasteful. One thing I didn’t like is that the restaurant has a policy of walk in only. No reservation is accepted. I tried hard to book in advance, I spoke to the manager as I was coming on a special occasion and as I always book my restaurant in advance but with no vail. I understand this in crowded restaurants or tiny ones with limited seating space but with a spacious restaurant being half empty I fail to understand why they insist on no...
Read moreIn terms of taste, the food is very good. We ordered koshari, labaneh with beetroot, cauliflower, kale salad. In terms of portions, they are way way too small. I have never seen a koshari in a tiny bowl. I have never seen dips like labaneh or humus served without bread. The restaurant - unlike typical Lebanese restaurants- charges 12 AED for olives and the same for bread! So these items are not served with food like normal. We asked for a labaneh dip and it came without bread/ as we have to order the bread. The team who served us were very nice and good people BUT the host has an attitude and if I were the owner I would dismiss him immediately as I witness a nice - modest looking family - looking at the menu. He was sarcastic with them and when they decided to walk away he made funny facial gestures towards them. He don’t care that we were watching. I don’t think I can recommend it for the reasons I mentioned and especially for those who are hungry but cost conscious because almost everything...
