I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the behavior of one of your staff members during my visit to the Tim Hortons branch at the Mall of the Emirates today at around 9:00 AM.
As an employee working within the mall, I requested the staff discount as I usually do. However, the staff member in question asked for my store name, which I provided. He then insisted that I must wear my uniform or present my work ID in order to avail of the discount. Despite explaining that I am a manager and do not have a uniform, the staff member continued to question me in a manner that made me feel uncomfortable and embarrassed, especially in front of other customers waiting in line.
I ultimately canceled my order due to the situation. While I understand the need to verify eligibility for discounts, I believe the interaction could have been handled with more discretion and professionalism. As a regular customer and a mall employee, this experience was disappointing and made me feel unwelcome.
I kindly request that you address this matter with your team to ensure such incidents do not occur in the future. I look forward to your response and hope for a resolution that upholds Tim Hortonsâ commitment to excellent customer service.
Thank you for taking the time to review...
Read moreThe person at the cash, whose name is Muhammad, has provided the worst treatment to me and the girl who was in front of me in the line. This person is completely unsuitable to be in front of the customers at all. He does not know how to speak to people and lacks patience in dealing with them.
The girl was about to yell at him. She asked him about a discount, and he responded to her in a rude manner. She had to tell him that just because she is asking about a discount does not mean she doesn't have money. She kept asking him about the price of a certain item, and he did not respond to her, but rather continued his conversation as if he does not understand what it means to provide customer service and that he should listen to the customer first.
When it was my turn, I had to repeat my order for Canadian Maple three times for him to understand, as he was on the phone. In the end, he tried to apologize to the girl by giving her a cookie piece, but she refused, and his reaction was even worse.
It is unacceptable to have such a person at Tim Hortons, at least in the...
Read moreThe worst customer service Ever. I was very disappointed with the service I received earlier, at around 11:25 PM. I wanted to buy a coffee with a sandwich, but the staff at the counter said it was no longer available. I changed my order and asked for a small cold coffee instead, but that wasnât available either. I had to change my order again.
When I finally give the amount of 500Aed, they told me they didnât have change. What kind of service is that? In that time did he still not have change? I asked him where is the Manager, and he said no Manager.OMG
When I raised my concerns, the Filipina staff memberâher name tag said Junahâgave me a rude look. The service was really bad. The staff clearly need proper training. I am calling on the management to take action on this because I just read that there are a lot of bad comments on your outlet. You should pay...
