Dubai Mall — Restaurant in Dubai

Never thought I would enjoy a meal at this very crowded and noisy food court esp on a holiday (1/1/2018) evening, but believe me I did !!!!

My friend suggested I try the newly opened Grill Shack, which specializes in grilled food. It turned out a restaurant with its own seating area inside and with a view!!!

As you enter you walk by the kitchen (a sight usual only for an Italian eatery not a steak house) but was fun. I wanted to sit away from the kitchen, so I spotted a double bench table, not only comfy but with a view!!! At the balcony edge overlooking Dubai Ice Ring. The cutest sight is its penguin walkers (literally) for those not versed in skating !!!!!! You've gotta eat there to see them.

The menu is mainly steaks, mostly New Zealand beef, just what I like !! All steaks come with one side, I chose french fries. I ordered an extra side, a salad, but they put some greens next to tge steak, and brought the fries in a cute mini square "frying" basket !!! The steak was done as I asked, medium well, accompanied with a delicious brown mushroom sauce with pieces !!!

To top the cuteness of this place, the bill came in a cute tiny oblong wooden tray !!!! It took the pain of the priciness of this rather not for the hungry eater meal. (Anyway, the waiter was kind and thoughtful and brought us an extra mini basket of delicious curly fries). BTW u never need to call for the waiter many times, everything you need is at the table ((napkins, ketchup, wet towel (they bring it with the cutlery at the beginning), even toothpicks)).

What a triple senses pleasure: the palate, the eye, and the mood. I shall definitely go...

Food: There are plenty of food options here in Dubai Mall. If someone says there are limited choices, then they have yet to explore the Mall. From inside to outside and more, there are plenty for you to choose from

Service: All staff from every part of the mall seemd professional. From those in the carpark, those serving food and even the security team. Indeed, one of the best malls around.

Atmosphere: Indulge yourself in the splendour of luxury here. One definitely can feel the radiance of another customer who shops. Shopping bags are plentiful here! 😉.. fyi, outside is where you get to enjoy the water feature flying up in the evening.

This is THE PLACE to go to when you are low spirited. They have everything here. So ya, definitely recommended to come by here.. Check out our photos yeah...
