Charcoal Garden - Best Shisha Lounge in Dubai — Restaurant in Dubai

I booked a table a week in advance and stated to have a table that had a good view of the screen to watch the fight.

When we got to the restaurant, we were placed in the corner which had no view of any screen. As the restaurant was fully booked, we were unable to move tables.

In addition, the broadcasting of the fight (and I assume any sport they show) was shown on IPTV. I have no issues with this, but the stream itself kept crashing after every 15 minutes or so. How can a restaurant like this not even afford and use proper and reliable broadcasting channels? If you like watching football or think of coming here to watch any sport, I would avoid coming here as there are so many other places that have better screens, more reliable broadcasting etc.

The service however was the worst I have experienced in Dubai. Firstly, there is no description or pictures of the items on the menu so you don't really know what you're getting. What's even worse is that if we asked staff about menu items, they would either reply with 'we aren't sure' or that the 'item is not available'.

We ended up ordering the oreo Nutella milkshake as how hard is it to make a milkshake right? Well, they got it wrong. It came and tasted of ice and had no flavour. We ended up returning it and stuck with coke zeros.

Finally, parking here is a pain. There is no valet parking available and the only parking is paid street parking.

To conclude, don't come here. There are plenty of other places in Dubai where you can watch sports, have shisha and have good food.

You've probably seen on their instagram that the only people on their stories are influencers or Z list celebrities. That in itself is a bad sign as its obviously just a marketing thing to grow in popularity.

Updated: we discovered their awesome game tables—such a fun surprise! The atmosphere here is super cool, perfect for hanging out with friends over great food and drinks. And speaking of food… absolutely delicious! Every dish we tried was flavorful and well-prepared.

Exceptional Service: What really impressed us was the attentiveness of the staff. At one point, my friend was struggling to connect to the Wi-Fi, and before she even asked, a server noticed and came over to help immediately. That level of proactive service made our visit even more enjoyable.

What an absolutely dreadful experience. I visited Charcoal Garden Dubai expecting an enjoyable evening, but instead was met with a complete and utter disappointment.

The service was abysmal - the staff seemed completely disinterested and disengaged, providing little to no attention to my table. Simple requests were met with indifference and neglect.

And the food... where do I even begin? Every single dish I tried was an utter travesty. The flavors were non-existent, the textures were akin to rubber, and the presentation was sloppy at best. I'm not sure what culinary vision they were going for, but they missed the mark by a mile.

To make matters worse, the overall atmosphere was chaotic and confused. The decor looked like it was hastily thrown together, with no cohesive theme or design. And the so-called "VIP section" was laughably pretentious.

Frankly, I cannot fathom how this establishment has managed to stay in business. There are far better dining options in the area that provide quality food, service and ambiance for a fraction of the cost. I would strongly urge anyone reading this to steer clear of Charcoal Garden Dubai. It is an utter waste of...
