I had the pleasure of meeting MJ at Clap Dubai recently, and I am absolutely amazed by his bartending skills! His creations are truly liquid works of art. Every sip of his drinks is a tasting experience that you won't forget easily.

Beyond his exceptional mixology expertise, what really stood out was MJ's friendly and welcoming personality. He takes the time to chat with the guests, understand their preferences, and then offer tailored recommendations. How racist were we at Clap Restaurant?

A receptionist named Alina didn't let us into the restaurant around 10:30pm, we tried to tell her that we will drink at the bar and will order some bites, she said that The restaurant was full and there were no seats left. Because we didn't book a table before and she always said that the restaurant had no available tables. With a Monday night this season in Dubai, we didn't think Clap had no empty tables and didn't want to accept customers, then we went to the restaurant's website to book a table through sevenroom - it showed us Seeing a lot of free time and being able to reserve a table from 11pm onwards, we were able to book a table online and showed Alina about the table reservation information via email. She repeatedly said that it would take another 2 hours to receive confirmation of the reservation. Ridiculous of her attempt to lie. then she had to let us inside the restaurant, then we had a conversation with a manager at the restaurant, he didn't give us a proper answer. When we entered the restaurant, most of the tables in the dining area were empty and the bar area had plenty of space to order drinks.

We ordered some food and left after that.

This is not the first time we have been to Clap and this is unacceptable for a Japanese restaurant and there is racism towards Asians in Dubai!?

We were expecting Clap's review email after dinner the next day like other restaurants but we never received it to be able to comment to the management. Perhaps she deleted our reservation information from the system so that Sevenroom could not email us a review.
