Okay, so I'm gonna break this down to sections. First a few things, the restaurant is located inside a mall and it's further out so take a taxi to avoid the stress. We went for lunch so I can only speak of their lunch time. Food: My biggest problem was the food. For the price, it wasn't all that amazing. Don't get me wrong, the selection of food was good, but the flavors weren't outstanding. The butter chicken, for example, was not spiced and reminded me of actual chicken just cooked in pale butter sauce. The grill meats were the star of the show. Most of the other foods were spicy, which made it difficult if you have small kids or tend to get tummy issues, so ask them what foods are spicy. The dessert section was meh. They had all sorts of Indian sweets, which will give you diabetes its super sugary. Its almost like they didnt want to spend the money on the traditonal indian spices for the flavour and just kept adding more sugar to flavour it. The jello my kids ate were bad...like it bad guys, I didn't know you could screw up jello, but here we are. It's like they forgot to add the flavor packet. It was sugar, gelatin, and water, basically. There were no cakes or other options which sucked because most Indian places back home they do have milkshakes and kulfi as options. It was good but for the price, it was not really worth it. Oh, and drinks are not included, so be prepared to add that into the bill. Atmosphere and staff: really nice staff and really nice place to sit and eat and take in the pretty architecture of the mall. It's located inside the mall, which was weird because we thought it was a stand-alone restaurant, but most places in Dubai are never going to be a stand-alone restaurant. But it was nice because after lunch we did a bit of shopping and worked off our food. We also picked up a couple of things we needed from the pharmacy- they have shampoos and different creams and if you ran out cerave it was super convenient. Overall it was good. But I gave it a 3 because it was overpriced and didn't deliver the bang for my money. I would still recommend going at least once on a very hungry day and getting that experience. But if you're a family, pass on this one. Your little ones are never going to be able to eat that much and at half off, it's still...

Danial restaurant is one of the oldest restaurants in UAE. They serve some amazing local and arabic food. Although their menu doesn't feature many dishes, they serve an amazing buffet which is must try for all those non-vegetarians out there.
We visited this place to preview their iftaar buffet and trust me it reminded us of attending a wedding. The crowd was massive. You wont get a table to sit unless you have reserved a spot two days in advance. At around 6:30, people were already sitting there with their tables and plates filled with piles of food, just waiting to break their fast so that they could relish those tasty looking prawns and kababs.
What we really liked was the variety of dishes that they had. Different versions of seafood, chicken, lam and even 5 different type of biryani. They also have a salad and pickle bar, but We didn't find the salads fresh. They also have so many varieties of desserts. We just fell in love with their gulab jamuns. They also have a good range of fresh juices which u are not included in the buffet. The food tastes really good, the flavours are not really enhanced. At the end of the day its your hunger that will determine the taste of the food.
Disclaimer : Although this review may have already made you drool and given u high hopes, if you are a vegetarian, this place is not for you.
The place is very noisy because of large groups of family visiting here to have a family iftaar and some have kids which are extremely naughty so be careful while carrying a plate filled with food. The staff is really good and friendly, always on their feet to serve you despite this being a buffet resturant. It a full on value for money for non-vegetarians. There is lots of parking available being the mall.

Read moreCold food! Many items. Not much taste.
The title of my review says it all. We went there as a family of six on a peak time on Friday evening around 9pm. It was not too busy.
As we tried little bits of many different dishes, we were shocked to notice how COLD some of the dishes were! Why? We wondered. They were not dishes that were meant to be served cold.
So we asked one of the servers and he just smiled and did not look surprised. Surprise for us!
Drinks were not included at all. Buffet was AED 75/person. For this price, Lal Qila is a MUCH better option.
Ohh, and none of the food were tasty enough to talk about. Yes, there were many dishes available. We are DEFINITELY not going back there.
I understand people’s tastes are different and I respect that. I am a food lover myself and you might want to spend your...
