We reached here 11.25 pm on 31.10.2024, ordered Humus, Fattoush, Falafel Sandwich, Spicy potato, Pepsi & Bread (fresh hot)

Food served at about 11.40 pm, the with khaboos, instead of the fresh hot bread as requested. Pepsi not served.

On requesting the fresh hot bread instead of Khaboos, The staff had the audacity to tell us that the last order is at 11.30 pm (while we came in at 11.25 pm), and had ordered bread - order was accepted, yet served with a different dish. He was adamant and forcing us to accept something, which is contrary to principles of good customer service. Eventually after we refused to accept the Humus & Spicy potato, as these were to be served with the fresh bread, he finally accepted and agreed to give us the bread , however he said ''we must wait for 25 minutes as the Oven needs to get hot'' (ridiculous, what they think, we are coming from some village, and dont know how much time the oven takes to warm up!) - We refused to wait for 25 minutes and withheld our decision to cancel the dishes. Than he finally said ''OK we will serve it in 5 minutes'', and brought 3 pcs of fresh bread in 5 minutes. After we asked for 3 more, they made an unhappy face and brought more, this time some different peculiar design and smaller bread. Very disappointing service. Never going here again. This experience showcases the attitude of the staff, how they treat & disrespect their customers.

They billed us for Pepsi, without serving us. When we informed him , he removed the Pepsi from the bill and gave us a revised bill.

So I have been always trying to give business to this restaurant. The food is alright but even on days its good, its the packing material they use thats upsetting. I have on at least 3 occasions clicked photos and expressed to the person that is not safe to use plastic containers for hummus or cold mezzo as it cracks. I prefer to take in, in the black tub wear as its more durable. However recent I didn't insist and when my mother made a call. She was told its best to complain to customer service ( ha) what a reply for a restaurant in this crisis time, should be taking every customer as vital. He apparently then when on to say only we have issues as they daily supply this container and no-one complains. Well if someone doesn't notice and gets choked on plastic pieces entering their hummus meals, im sure it won't be a complain. Anyways I never review places but just wanted to put this out that people should check their containers when ordering from this restaurant. I feel in this crisis times, the management should train their staff to respond better and give it at least a try they care about the health and well being of their customers or at least returning ones and especially the ones that have shown them in valid images how dangerous such damages can be to consumers. My recently discovered place for the best non greasy chicken shawarma and kabab sandwich! Even though it’s in Saj bread, it’s not greasy and not chewy at all. The sandwiches are large filled with deliciously prepared white chicken without any fat or skin! Kabab sandwich was juicy and bursting with flavor! An absolute delight to your tastebuds and easy on the pocket! The person at the cashier gave me a complimentary tea while I waited for my order, what a lovely gesture in today’s capitalistic world!
