I had a very disappointing experience at WoW Nail Salon, and I would not recommend it to anyone. From the moment I arrived, the service was extremely unprofessional and cold. I was assigned two nail technicians because I requested nail extensions, but throughout the appointment, they spoke to each other in a language I didn’t understand — not English — and laughed when I mentioned wanting a butterfly design. This made me feel uncomfortable and disrespected, as I didn’t know if I was being mocked.

There was absolutely no friendliness, no smiles, no effort to engage — it felt like they were doing me a favor instead of providing a paid service. The atmosphere was very cold, and the staff seemed inconvenienced by my presence.

I had asked for coffin-shaped nail extensions, but what I received was far from that. Because two different technicians worked on my nails, the quality was very uneven — one hand was noticeably worse. I had to point it out and ask for it to be redone, but even after the correction, the shape and finish were unacceptable. Now, just a few hours later, I’m experiencing intense pain in my nails, and I may have to remove them completely.

To make matters worse, I paid 500 AED for this extremely poor service. One of the staff even approached me with no greeting or professionalism — just told me, “choose your color” and “give me your hand for cleaning,” in a very rushed, rude manner. It was shocking, especially for a salon located in Dubai Mall where you expect luxury, comfort, and good customer service.

While one of the technicians seemed to try her best (and I won’t mention her name as she appeared unwell and still tried to work), overall, the entire experience was terrible. The salon should seriously review its staff training, customer service standards, and quality of work.

I usually go to a small, modest salon in Majan where the staff — although working in a less “luxurious” setting — are so much more professional, welcoming, and skilled. In comparison, WoW Nail Salon, despite its upscale location, was a complete disappointment.

I truly regret wasting my time and money here. I would never return and would not recommend this salon to anyone. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere

Just went for wash and blow dry and they gave me magda, when I tried to explain her how to wash my hair. She went on like. I have a 37 years of experience don't worry I know my work. She made me quiet.. and then she washed and used some mask by putting water in the bottle. Where as I have long and coloured hair so I told her to put conditioner for long in my hair which she didn't and on top a diluted mask was put on my head. As bottle ended and she put water in it. Anyways now comes blow dry. As she did all wash and mask in only 7 minutes so that poor diluted mask didn't do what it was suppose to do. So now I told her to put serum or else my hair will break. Again she tried to ignore and said no I'll put in the end. This time I said it firmly and she listened. And even after serum she realised how dry my hair were as she used watery mask which didn't do any wonders she was expecting. And she broke so many of my hair that now I have so much of hair like baby hairs. I wish I could slap her for doing this if she wasn't elderly.

Terrible experience – unprofessional and misleading! I had a horrible experience at this salon and will never go back.

My hair was long and damaged, and I wanted a shorter, stylish cut. I showed her a reference photo, and she assured me she was a professional and could deliver a creative, stylish look. Instead, she cut my hair completely differently – in a strange, uneven way – and left it soaking wet. On top of that, they never showed me the actual price of the protein treatment beforehand. I felt tricked because it turned out to be extremely expensive.

A couple of days later, I returned to have their mistake corrected. Unfortunately, it only got worse. Another stylist, with the manager assisting, pretended to cut in a professional way but did a terrible job. She even cut my neck and didn’t bother to apologize. She ignored my requests and left my hair even shorter – almost like a boy’s cut – which I never wanted.

Now, every time I look in the mirror, I feel upset and disappointed. People even make fun of my haircut. This has been a very frustrating and humiliating experience.
