We went for dinner with a family of 8 yesterday evening in the Jumeirah branch and the service was horrible and slow. I made a reservation for 11.15pm.

For 30 mins, no waiter came to take our order even though the restaurant was not busy.

Then we placed the order for the starters and main course at the same time and the food came after almost an hour.

When I asked them what was the delay they said that the main chef had left and the trainee chef was cooking that's why it took time. Even The manager left at 12.30am when the restaurant is supposedly open untill 2am.

Prior to our visit, the gypsy chinese marketing team had called me and told about their 12th anniversary offer where all signature dishes are for 12dhs.

To make things worse, when we ordered the signature noodle dishes, they said a minimum of 4 pax can order 1 dish together. Ie. For 8 people you can avail 2 noodle dishes. (on the contrary the dalma mall gypsy branch didn't have such terms and conditions as we had ordered 8 noodle dishes for 8 people in the dalma mall branch)

Un till all the food came and we were done by 1.45 am, which was super late. One of the dishes we ordered was also incorrect but since it was late and we couldn't wait any longer, we just had what was given.
