On December 8, 2024, I had the pleasure of enjoying a delightful breakfast at Karak House Restaurant, located in the heart of Dubai with a stunning view of the Burj Khalifa. I visited the restaurant with two friends, and our experience was truly memorable.

From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. Our waiter, Ahmed, was exceptionally friendly and attentive, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed throughout our meal. The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and inviting, with a perfect balance of traditional and modern decor.

For breakfast, we ordered a variety of dishes. The French toast with scrambled eggs and avocado was absolutely delicious, with the toast perfectly crispy and the eggs soft and creamy. We also tried the pancake in a pan, which was a unique twist on the classic breakfast favorite, and it was wonderfully fluffy and satisfying. The Turkish eggs were another highlight, with a rich, flavorful combination of poached eggs, yogurt, and spices that was both comforting and bold.

To accompany our meal, we ordered a latte, an americano, and a cappuccino. Each drink was expertly prepared, with the coffee being rich and aromatic, providing the perfect balance to our dishes.

Terrible Service and Misleading Pricing – Avoid This Place

I had an awful experience at Karak Tea House, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

First, the service was completely unprofessional. We were asked if we wanted the food served all together, and I said yes, assuming this applied only to the food. Concerned that the drinks might be delayed, I asked if we could have them first, only for the server to dismissively reply, “I told you so.” This lack of basic service etiquette is shocking. Drinks should always be served within a few minutes, followed by taking the food order—it's a standard sequence in hospitality. The server clearly lacked proper training and seemed to be pretending he knew what he was doing. I strongly suggest you train your staff on the basics of good service.

Second, the pricing was a complete scam. When we ordered karak tea, we were asked if we wanted it small or medium. At no point were we informed that choosing medium would cost extra. We only found out later that the medium size was charged at double the price! The server failed to clarify this crucial detail, which felt incredibly deceptive. Transparency in pricing is essential, and this kind of hidden charge leaves customers feeling cheated.

I'm still reeling from the incredible experience I had at Karak House Restaurant! From the moment I stepped in, I knew I was in for a treat. The stunning views of the Burj Khalifa are simply breathtaking and set the tone for a fantastic meal.

But what truly made my visit exceptional was the top-notch service provided by Sarah. Although it was her first day on duty, she was an absolute rockstar! Her professionalism, poise, and warm hospitality made me feel like royalty. (she’s cute too). She expertly entertained our table, ensuring we had everything we needed and more.

The food, of course, was phenomenal. I ordered the famous Karak Chai and a delicious breakfast meal, which were both expertly prepared and presented. The flavors were rich and bold, and the portions were generous.

Sarah's attentiveness and care, however, took the experience to new heights. She's a natural people person, and her enthusiasm is infectious. I was impressed by her ability to multitask, handle requests with ease, and maintain a bright smile throughout.
